I'm not sold on the hype yet, but he looked passable against the Dallas 1's. Didn't get completely stonewalled and kept coming with something else. If nothing else, he looks pro enough to contribute snaps if/when Bosa/Ford are nicked up. And if he can get that many snaps, anything's possible.

What are you talking about? Did you even read what I said? I said Cameron Wake broke out at about the same age...past his mid 20's. A late bloomer. It seemed like something clicked when Cameron had to leave the NFL and it would be awesome if this guy did the same. I never said he was the next Cameron Wake. The reality is higher that he doesn't even make the team than anything.

Taylor has moved inside permanently, so they're not competing against each other for a roster spot.

Since I don't consider Ronald Blair an edge, the team has 2 true edge players on roster. Moore should be a lock.

I don't know what they're going to do. Hopefully a trade, because they have 10 or so NFL-caliber players on the D-line. Maybe they can get a 6th or 7th next year for Jones...

When it comes to numbers on the DL I would say they are competing. If Moore wasn't having a good preseason, Taylor would probably make it over him.

IMO he's already ready for a spot in the rotation. And I'd be comfortable with him getting significant snaps if Bosa and Ford miss games.

What makes me extra happy about Moore is he's good against the run and sniffed out a screen. He seems like a complete DE for this system and a natural fit.
