Agreed. I really think he has to make the team. He's been very good rushing from either side of the line, and while others like Valoaga showed up in a game or two. Moore has been consistent game after game in all facets. With the desperate need we had for pass rushers, it seems rather silly to let a guy like this go. We need to be four-deep at edge when it comes to legitimate pass rush talent. While Thomas looks much better, his prowess is in the middle.

Give me Ford-Bosa-Moore-Blair on the edge, and then let the other 5 be the big-boys and DE/DT tweeners fill the middle with Buck, Thomas, Jones, Day, and Street/AA filling those spots. Although I sure would love to trade away AA if we got an offer.

I hope he makes it, BUT won't be shocked if he doesn't. Blair and Ford will be out there week 1 for sure. They still use Solomon, AA, Streets on the outside (and have put Buck out there some in TC).

All depends on Bosa's injury and timeline. IF he's out one game they more than likely don't keep him.

People really need to distinguish the ER, 2i and 3T now. These aren't completely interchangeable anymore with the W9.

I see both sides, but I think in this passing league, you need rushers. AA has not looked good in this transition, Street is still unproven, and Day looks like he is near or at his ceiling. With Blair being in a contract year and a tough guy to potentially bring back, I feel like Moore would be a guy we could manage to keep after the year two. Blair does not fit the mold of a true LEO in terms of dimensions at least (6-2 280 at combine -- no idea where the team is getting 6-4 270 from). Moore does fit the size prototype.

I dunno what'll happen. I just hope we keep the best guys on the roster. I'll be pissed if we let him go and he winds up lighting it up somewhere else.

Oh I'm totally fine with him making the team...I still won't be shocked if he doesn't. How has he been vs our tackles in practice? I haven't had a chance to see/read about that.

FWIW Blair doesn't weight 280 anymore. He is down around 270.

He's been in and out of the league since 2013, I kinda think he is who he is (I don't think he's gonna light it up anywhere). We will see. I think Bosa's health will factor into if they keep him
dude playing like Godzilla, Demonster Moore, hope he makes the 53
If Street is going on IR like Shanahan says is likely, then it sounds like Moore has a good chance of making the roster.
We need him on the team. It is really doubtful Bosa and Dee Ford will be available for 16 games each this season.

It's funny when you read page 1 of this thread. All of the replies are sarcastic.

Now we are praying this guy is a contributor for week 1 if Bosa is out

Page 1 replies weren't sarcastic

I agree. He looked really good in Baldy's breakdowns.
Damn. Dude worked his ass off in the preseason. Underwhelming game 4 might've lost him the opportunity . I'd be surprised if another team didn't pick him up.
