I wondered about Damontre and LaRoy Reynolds...but I ain't mad with who we kept over them.

2nd time we cut Moore tho https://www.49ers.com/news/49ers-sign-db-alex-brown-waive-dl-damontre-moore

Brown is on another team (Jets)...maybe Moore will find a home soon. Maybe not.

I thought Moore played well at a position we need help. We have depth on the interior but besides Blair not much on the edge. If Bosa and or Ford gets dinged we will have no depth. Moore played well against ones and twos not just ham and eggers. Although nobody else signed him yet so there ya go. I thought he was worth keeping instead of someone like Toislowlo.

Tell 'em Oscar.

The original Charger game broadcast was not on my satellite company after the first 7 minutes, so I only watched it for the first time today on NFLN.

Like most here, Moore had caught my eye on the pass rush, hence, I was surprised that he was a cut. So, I watched him closely today. Though he did show good agility in rushing the passer, he was often stalemated against 2nd team Charger OTs. He tended to have a high pad level which made it easy for the OT to hold him out.

Bottom line for me: Cut him and bring him back if someone gets hurt.

Small little asterisk to that game: he was playing with a full arm cast anti-Joshua Garnett style.

Check out the first 3 games too.

An arm cast should not have kept him from keeping a better pad level.

If Jimmy goes down so does the season.

i think you're short changing Mullins performance last year....his A game is Prowbowllerish, and lord knows young QBs can struggle. Looking at his age and his performance, i don't think the season is lost if Jimmy goes down...

.375 career win percentage for Mullens. I think your overvaluing his game calling him probowl like. He's a backup QB and will never be more.

75% of our teams wins last year. 0-5 prior to him starting. Mullens ain't a Pro Bowler, but it isn't a stretch to think he can be near .500 if Jimmy went down for a couple games. He's a desperate team's starter until there is someone else, but a perfect backup.
Why isn't he sign yet? Are there 10+ teams bidding for his service and he hasn't make the decision which team to join?
