Moore signed to someone's 53 yet?

Alright you peeps...all you in the Moore-was-just-camp-fodder bucket need to show one single post of yours claiming how poor he was and how he never had a chance, was an easy cut, etc. BEFORE he was actually cut.

Otherwise, you're just towing the company line here and I call B.S.

Call it like you see it.

Moore played well against 2s/3s

Didn't establish himself over any existing player.
5 teams in 6 years.

I call BS.

Just find it comical, these stances.

Formula:
FO makes move X
WZ FO Defender - yeah, good move. Guy is a JAG. No loss.
Same WZ FO Defender 'prior' to move X - guy has played great and totally earned a spot on the 53 or has zero opinion until move X.

Ya dig? Anybody can be a defender. It's easy. It's lazy.

In short, have a mind of your own even if it ends up being different from what the FO eventually does (b/c the FO is often wrong --- that's been proven).

Great post. I concur. Some of us would have a better team assembled than the FO. At least free agency moves. Earl Thomas, the guard from Carolina (even though he had a down year), not getting Mckinnon and using that money on a wr like Allen Robinson and so on.

To name just a few moves. No doubt we'd be better off. The fun with real GM's and armchair GM's, there are endless right AND wrong answers. Both with make great moves and mistakes along the way. In fact, if you made ANY move to your OL for your 2019 off season plan, you've already proven more than the actual GM did.
Fee Fee slipped out the backdoor and is gone. Y'all crying for 3+ days over a dog we only had for 2months. Feefee wasn't that good to us. Let.it.go

I think these things always go both ways, we want the team to get that top FA but many fans would have us in salary cap hell fast.
I liked Moore but this FO doesn't keep "try out" vets unless they really deserve it.
Many fans don't complain when the team addresses a position with the wrong vet, it's when the team does nothing that makes us angry.
I was sure the team would make a run at Earl Thomas and some competition at guard. I don't remember who was out there but I LOVE old guard rentals. I'll take a Big Old Gogan or Larry Allen over an average unproven young guy any day.
Gotta remember that the team knows things we don't though. Was Thomas' personality more trouble than he was worth? Did Moore look like trash against the 1's?
I just want a front office who can outsmart the average fan. The problem is sometimes they end up outsmarting themselves.

Honestly, picking the players isn't really the hard part, it's giving them the proper contract and figuring out the proper trades. IMO

In Madden nowadays it actually really isn't that easy to make trades and pay players. For what Seattle got for Clowney, good luck executing a trade like that in Madden.

If I had it my way, Aaron Rodgers would've been the 49ers QB back in 2005 and Vince Wilfork would've been the 49ers NT back in 2004.

Sometimes NFL GM's just over think things.

I guess according to some people here, none of us can assemble a better team than some of the worst general managers in the league which I strongly disagree with. A lot of us had our draft favorites and they are a lot better than some of the teams assembled. Look at Cleveland so many years, there are so many teams bad at drafting whether the general managers overthink it or not the fact remains some fans are more knowledgeable about drafting players or whatever you want to say get lucky. However I would've also drafted Aaron Rodgers Vince Wilfork And most recently Marcus peters and I'm sure a lot of you felt the same way. I would of missed on Solomon Thomas though

This 100%. The difference between realism and delusional homerism.
I liked what I saw of Moore in preseason. And that he played the last two games with a cast on to try and make the team says a lot. It just happened to be the deepest part of the team.
Why do people keep on saying he only played against 2'sand 3's. Our starting defensive ends were out the whole preseason so he had to go against some number ones? I feel like I'm on crazy pills right now. He performed very well and is worth keeping as our fourth end
