Unless I'm misreading this, doesn't the article indicate that 66% of players either don't make it back at all or don't return to form when they do? That makes you optimistic?
Yes it does . He explained that 1/3 just called it quits because they were older and it wasn't worth it , 1/3 didn't quite make it back [to the prior level of play and 1/3 came back just as good. Also referenced RBd that regained their explosiveness

He ain't done until he is done. In the meantime, we have to shore up his spot until he returns.

I hope he is one that makes it back however the only two linebackers that tore their Achilles were Bowman and Jullian Peterson who were never the same after. Bowman even came back after completely tearing up his knee but not after his Achilles injury.

Im hoping his is done right and he recovers well. Didn't Cam Akers tear his and come back in the same season ?

He did and I hope the technology has improved and he will be back at full strength. If we have him and Huff no way Mahomes gets that 4th and 1. That was Dre's spot with Hufanga backing him up.

Dre was going to have an unreal game before his injury and probably going to cash in a huge payday this off-season.

Man... you could feel him through the TV. He came out and set the tone for the defense in the SB

Seems like it was a clean Achilles tear. Not that it still doesn't suck, but here's to a speedy recovery for Dre. Godspeed.

this is just b******t.
Dre Greenlaw has the instincts of Navarro Bowman, as well as the speed and fundamentals of Patrick Willis.
He indeed looked like a fusion of both on Sunday.
What a moronic take. Kelce, and the whole KC offense were doing nothing until Dre went out. You're just trolling, right?
if you're asking that question you should be quoting 9moon, not me
Hence, why I bolded his statement....
