"Big Play" Dre Greenlaw-OLB-Arkansas is a Bronco?

Greenlaw made a lot of big plays just like Hufanga. They both also made a lot of mistakes. Huf was always out of position and got beat fownfield . Grenlaw was often overly aggressive. It seemed like he was always good for at least one personal foul fr a late hit or targeting. The other thing they have in common is health. Both were injured a lot. In the NFL you have to stay on the field some way. If CMC gets hurt again ths season he's probably going to be gone next season.

Better find out we offered the same deal as Denver and this was just him wanting to be the guy

Completely agree and great perspective here.

Of everyone the Niners have moved on from, the only one I was hoping to retain was Greenlaw, but again, Greenlaw has had injury issues and who knows what he'll be like off that achilles. Looked great in that limited action last year, but they immediately had to shut him down and how much of that was raw adrenaline?

I'm sure he'll play well for Denver and wish him the best, but it makes sense for the Niners to get younger and cheaper here.

Good move letting him go. He's good when healthy but a huge risk with his injury situation. Sad but true. It is what it is. We can't put emotions into our players. Rather another team take the chance than us. If he does good then good for dre

His emotional impact on the defense will be hard, if not impossible, to replace. The connection he had with Warner was special.

Yes, he did get hit with some penalties, but those same penalties kept opposing players with their heads on a swivel, looking for him. We will be able to fill his spot on the field but not his production. He was a special player.

Feel'n the pain. Took out one of our foundation. Dre was 49er Fam from day 1. The kind of players you don't let go.
him leaving hurts the most >>>
Sounds like we did everything we could to keep him. Unfortunately he was being honest about wanting to be out from Fred's shadow. Can't make Bruce Wayne money being Robin. Hope he kills it in Denver

Neer heard that one before, I like it. lol

If anyone knows Greenlaw it's the 49ers and I think they really wanted him back, BUT at the same time were worried about his injuries.

More than I thought it would, it's like to letting Bowman go as Willis's right hand man. You know Saleh and Fred Warner are in disgust. I talk a lot about the importance of building culture and morale around our players letting Greenlaw go is a big negative in both those aspects
Lol chumps low balled him, offended him and then tried to beg and plead for him to stay.
