Good organizations develop players.

Feel exactly the same. I was very much ready to move on after 2019. Glad we didn't. Turned out he had some injury stuff in 2019. He probably flashed the most of the three LB's on Sunday.

My only concern with him is on the outside runs to the edge he does a lot of whiffy diving arm tackles.

Didn't get to watch the whole game last week so maybe he is improving in that category.

IT'S almost great that Warner is TOP 3 LB in the NFL, while Greenlaw is a PROVEN OVERACHIEVER that while the two are getting all the recognitions, THE RAZOR may just end up being our best LB this YEAR !!

GO NINERSSSSS !!!!

Seemed like he made a few plays. Still really bummed out about Greenlaw who was by far our best LB on Sunday

By far is a stretch. Greenlaw made the biggest play but I'd argue that Azeez was our best LB on the field on Sunday

Azeez is another major coup by Shanalynch.

We've been churning out really quality linebackers. Azeez flashed in pre-season 2019, wasn't strong during the season, flashed when he played in 2020 but struggled with some coverage stuff. Played pretty well on Sunday, especially in coverage and tackling, needs to be more decisive in the run game.

He was getting wrecked last year and whenever he was in. Had some awful coverage. So people were right to saw he sucked bc he in fact did. However, he may of improved. That does happen sometimes in the nfl

He's gonna play well, no drop off from mr greenlaw

I wish

did you miss the lions game? he was great

He was great but to say no drop off is hilarious 🤣 Greenlaw is a proven stud and Azeez has been a very poor player. He had a few good plays last year and a very good game last week. Maybe a little too early to put him on Greenlaw level wouldn't you say?

Wow he's moving so much better a couple seasons post leg injury. I'm about to start having some unrealistic expectations for this kid if he plays well again this week.

Seriously. Another game like that this Sunday and he's going to have everyone's attention.

Great game for sure. Hope he continues to play like this going forward

This is why I get upset when fans immediately start calling draft picks a bust. Some players just need a little more time to adjust or mature. Sometimes we have to trust the coaching staff who actually see these guys in practice every day.
Azeez will do great in place of Greenlaw. I'm more afraid of Flanagan-Fowels taking over the weak side. FF missed a lot of tackles in space.
