Most Improve Player for the 49ers !!!

Yet another UDFA outplaying early to mid round draft picks.

We are by far the best team in the league with UDFA and I would say top 3 in rounds 5-7. Too bad we are league average at rounds 1-4

A good draft is netting you 3 starters. The entire thing. Not just round 1 - 4. With that said 2017 and 2018 are bad. 2019 looks great. 2020 looked good in year 1. MIA in year two. Study all 32 teams. I surmise you're going to find most drafts have been worse than ours from round 2 to 4 in the last five years.

Thank god. Harris is a LB/S hybrid who can't cover or tackle. IMO he should not be on any NFL roster.

With Azeez coming back this week and Greenlaw on schedule for next week we are almost looking at a Greenlaw/Alexander situation. I personally believe Greenlaw should still get the nod in nickel/3rd down looks but it is getting hard to deny that there is most certainly a competition at this point. Just curious to know how you guys feel about it.

How many of you think Azeez has earned playing time over Dre "The Goal Line Guardrail" Greenlaw???

With Azeez coming back this week and Greenlaw on schedule for next week we are almost looking at a Greenlaw/Alexander situation. I personally believe Greenlaw should still get the nod in nickel/3rd down looks but it is getting hard to deny that there is most certainly a competition at this point. MIKE: Fred Warner
WILL: Dre Greenlaw/Azeez Al-Shaair; Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles

Even Marcell Harris had his best game last game with a cast on his hand. I think it slowed him down some and forced him to play more under control which ironically, is what he's always needed to do given how many tackles he misses.

I wonder if Azeez Al-Shaair will move back to SAM. Like the hybrid SS/LB role we have for Harris, Ryans can keep all three LB's on field a lot together, even in nickel. With the injuries at SS (Tartt) and FS (Ward) and now with Tavon Wilson and Talanoa Hufanga starting now, this might be the way to go.

That's a lot of speed and coverage ability with the 3 LB's.

At the very least Azeez is most improved player on the team, he is all over the field and seems to be a real leader on defense
