Deceptively quick and slashing his way to the ball carrier.

Hero that's why you my guy, I couldn't quite figure out exactly who it was that he reminded me of, but early years David is exactly the one. I was a huge fan of David in college and his draft year and he didn't disappoint since.

NC: Three simple words and you described him to the tee. That would be the reason he flashes so damn much and pops off the screen and also the reason we see him unfortunately whiff in every game. But I'll take those 2-3 whiffs a game all day because he makes up for it and then some with just flat out playmaking for us and collecting tackles like he's the only back 7 player out there lol. Absolute stud and I'd resign him over Greenlaw if it came to that without even blinking. What I would prefer is of course to keep both and have, in my opinion, the best young linebacking core in the league.
He's easily playing like a top 10 linebacker in the league.

For sure!

I think once he's back to playing with Greenlaw and Warner for a few games, he won't NEED to fly in uncontrolled at times. He'll have help and I'm sure they're coaching him up on this given he's dodged a couple very serious injuries already this year. Or, at least I hope they are. They need to keep this kid on the field. Period.

He whiffed on a checkdown to Perine in the 2nd Q to set up a FG for Cincy, that could have turned into a 1st and goal.

4th and 7 vs 4th and 2 could be the difference between giving up 3 points or 7 points against a Tom Brady/Aaron Rodgers/Stafford in the playoffs.

Totally agreed. And thankfully Cincinnati didn't go for those 4th and 1 and 2's that should have been much further back.

You called it.

Al-Shaair worked on the side with both elbows in a brace, per Cam Inman of Bay Area News Group.

I'll take a wiffed tackle any day if it comes with the terminator stats he puts up in tackles, TFL, forced fumbles and impact plays
