It makes a lot of sense to bring back Azeez. 49ers were going to have to pay Dre after 2024, but unfortuntely, there's no guarantee he bounces back from the achilles injury. They'd essentially be giving Dre's money to Azeez.

Aziz was one of my favorites bc he delivers hits. Confused about the response like paying a premium for a 3rd string LB? Aziz was starting on Base downs and a beast. I also hope they have improved surgery procedures bc Bowman was never the same when he returned. I agree Dre might not be our LB2 moving forward.
