So Greenlaw is a FA after this year.

Azeez won't come cheap though. He had a good year with the Titans, and can paid pretty decently by a team desperate for LB help.

I don't think we will get him just because he can get a lot more money else where, but I wouldn't be against a contract for Azeez that is more front loaded.

This is usually a 4-6 month injury, but who knows how he comes back. What makes him special is his speed / tackling ability. If the doesn't have the same speed anymore, he won't be that difference maker we are used to.

If we can, sign Azeez, 2-3 year deal - 5-7 mil a year, and front load it on this year so we can at least trade him if Greenlaw is back to form and resign him in the offseason, or keep Azeez and let Greenlaw walk in FA if he's not the same player.
USA Today reporting he's signing with the Texans. Weird nobody else has?

I bet Azeez wanted to come back to SF, but Demeco wanted him more. Can't blame Azeez for following his coach.

Getting paid
Azeez signed with the Texans for three years $34 million.
