Yep, Pete's special juice
When we signed this kid as a UDFA, I was very excited. He would have been a 4th or 5th rd pick had he not tore his ACL IMO.

A four year starter at FAU and was dominating Conference USA. Against Oklahoma he really played well showing he could play with top competition.
He has really good speed and importantly, great instincts to go with his speed. He still needs to get about 10pds bigger & stronger but I think this kid will pleasantly surprise some people and I think he will end up being a long term starter with the 49ers at some point.

Why does he need to get 10 pounds bigger?
He is very, very fast.

just what we need against elusive QB's like Wilson, Lamar and Murray.
next man up for AAS

Not really. Kyle and Saleh have committed to speed with the LBs, and this kid is the same weight as Kwon and has speed. Stopping the run will have to come from scheme adjustments off the Wide 9.
While I think Greenlaw will start I do see Azeez Al-Shaair getting more snaps. I see us using him as the spy on Wilson. And he's a tackling machine, so I think our D against the run will be a bit helped with him in.

Would like to see if can hold his own starting over Nzeocha. Al-Shaair has some Kwon Alexander to his game too.

What did you think about his [overall] play in Baltimore?

He's been decent, but he's still pretty green. He's had more of an impact on STs IMO.

Ok. I thought he and/or Dre was kinda late a few times, hence Jackson gained chunks here n there. He didn't look awful tho imo.
Can somebody please tell this guy to stop making stupid bonehead penalties that cost the team? When he plays he is not bad IMO. He just doesn't understand the point in the game and committing costly penalties that cost us yardage and automatic first downs. He shows some speed and tackling ability. I just want him to use his head more than he currently does.
Kid should only get better the more he plays out there

LOL yeah it was kinda frustrating. He's got the physicality traits and hopefully he gets better with the mental aspect like real quick
