Was about to make a thread myself. Was talked up recently as a dark horse to make the roster by Barrows in his Post-OTAs report. Now it comes out Fred Warner is hyping the guy up too. When two different sources like that chime in on a guy who no one has been talking about, I suppose it's time to start listening.
We'll see how he looks when the pads come on and in pre-season, but count me intrigued.

Hope he plays bigger than his 5'11 180 size. Some guys can. They are rare. I hate to not give him the opportunity. Cause he look like he can play the corner position.

Small but scrappy like Jason Verrett is. Sticky in coverage and aggressive when there's an opportunity to make a play on the ball.

I think Reed might be his primary competition. Brown was known for strong special teams play as well in college. Guy had terrific measurables and production, perhaps it's another case of a player who slipped through the cracks. We'll see how it goes.

Can he return kicks though? Cause I don't think James makes the team.

Yeah it's going to be tough for James if others are healthy. Pettis, Samuel, and Mostert all have KR/PR experience.

With a good pass rush, this guy might create potential turnovers if he's a really good man press guy.
