The only defense I have heard for BB is that there is no way he would do the same thing he was busted for before. That is a weak defense.

This a huge game for BB, if he would've lost this game, that would've been it for his career. Makes sense for BB to put his whole reputation on the line to beat the great Bengals.

But his legacy and Brady's could end up tarnished. Not, I think, by this one but maybe the next one.

If not now then when? Isn't this like the 3rd time they have been involved in some shady s**t, deflate gate and video gate 1 & 2. What other team has even had 1 in that time period?

I keep hearing that it was something that the front office did and Belichick had nothing to do with it. I don't know if he did or not but he's a great coach in any case. Does he push the limits of the rules? Sure he does and any great coach should. In pro sports you either win or you're nothing. Sad truth but that's the way it is. Nobody cares who lost the SB.

Which speaks volumes that if they are willing to do it in a trivial game against a terrible opponent, you'd best believe that they are going all out for the games that actually matter.

Doug Pedersen actually had his team go through an entire fake walkthrough prior to the SB and they brought in extra security and electronic surveillance detection specialists prior to using rooms for gameplan discussion so clearly this isn't an isolated issue.
