unless you're saying right now. then the answer is no. who knows how much longer Bill wants to coach for, and winning as many SBs as he did, what fire is there left? he's going down as the greatest HC ever. i don't think he has anything to prove anymore.

Now now, we all know Bill won with Pete Carroll's team.... lets not go too far.

The great bill bellicheck gave the niners offense problems in the 80s. They even held them to 13 points in the 1990 nfc championship.

He is a great coach. Anyone comparing him to shanahan should have their heads examined.
Mac Jones reminds me of Rick Mirer. Everything about Mirer looked exactly like Joe Montana...until he took a snap in the NFL.

NE gonna be disappointed and they will most likely lose Cam in the process of forcing Jones.

Much like Lance reminds me as a more physically gifted Alex Smith "a good thing". Jones reminds me of a less physically gifted Alex Smith…. You know, like the guy you brought up.

Cam is hot garbage now and a horrible fit in their offense anyways.

They might lose a guy that has been rapidly declining for several years and is now getting paid less than CJ Beathard.

Yeah. Cam is extremely talented but he needs to get his head out of the clouds and try to reinvent his game. I have a feeling his efficiency will improve by a lot this season.

22 TD 10 INT at 65% passing in a new offense with hardly any practice isn't all that bad. He had a couple of awesome games in terms of carying the team on his back. He just needs to refine his game and work on his ball placement on the easy throws along with executing a play on schedule.

Cam at this point in his career looks like he is throwing a shot put instead of a football

Way too early to compare Kyle to Belichick. Kyle has achieved more in his short time as HC than Bill did. Remember, Belichick wasn't successful in Cleveland. Things turned around for when he teamed up with Brady. The fact that Bill is a defensive genius and Kyle is an offensive guru makes it hard ot ever compare them. I doubt that Kyle will ever win that many SBs since the Niners are in a much tougher division and conference.

Belichick in his first four years as headcoach of the Browns= 31-33 with a playoff appearance

Shanahan in his first four years as head coach of the 49ers=29-35 with a playoff appearance.

The foundation that Belichick laid in Cleveland eventually wound up resulting in the franchise winning 2 SB's, time will tell if Kyle will have that same level of impact with the 49ers.

Curious as to how many players that he drafted with the Browns were still there when they won the SB in Baltimore in the '99 season. I know Ozzie Newsome started with the Browns and stayed on when they moved to Baltimore and had a lot to do with their success. I don't think Belichick should get any credit for the 2012 Ravens SB, that was almost 20 years after he was fired.
