Mac Jones is playing well right now and it has to be a kicker for the 49ers management team. It is what it is and so far it looks like SF muffed that decision rather spectacularly. Jones gets the job done but dammed if he doesn't have a goofy looking throw.

I still would not be one bit surprised if Zach Wilson never lives up to his draft slot.

I'm not saying the Jets should have taken Mac Jones but I wouldn't be surprised to see Wilson flame out.

Heck, it will probably take Lawrence a little while. Both to adjust to the NFL and having not much of anything around him.
