Appears to be digging in on his holdout which is less about money and more about the Redskins completely FUBARing his injury diagnosis. I wonder what he would cost, if he'd be willing to play guard and would Shanahan have any interest in having him on his team again.
f**k yes

Just about the only person I can think of more "petty" than Dan Snyder:

lol at that Flowers tweet

The Pats make a lot of sense for Williams. I'd take him as a G/swing tackle (obviously) but I'm betting another team will want him more.

I mean sign me up, I don't think there's a chance in hell he would play OG though.

Dude is making $14+ million this yr and no doubt he wants more guaranteed cash.

The freaking Pats are gonna end up with him....s**t happens all the time.

Doubt the Redskins would take less than a 2nd or even a 1st to move Williams, plus we don't have the cap room for 2020, right now we up against it next year, we have to rely on carrying over money from 2019 into 2020. I'd rather stick with our OL, plus doubt Williams plays OG for anyone.

He'd have to take a pay cut to go to Minnesota or NE, they're up against the cap, and this is before the cuts are made.
Also the Cards are up against the cap, only CLE and HOU has the money of those 5 teams

They aren't getting a 1st for a 32 year old, injury prone tackle. Even a 2nd is kind of iffy. I think it'll end up being somewhat similar to the Antonio Brown compensation.
