He'd have to take a pay cut to go to Minnesota or NE, they're up against the cap, and this is before the cuts are made.

I simply listed teams who have a need for an upgrade. It would take some cap magic for Minny and NE as they lack the space. Dunno if either can make cap magic happen though. But thanks for pointing out what I was unaware of.

Also the Cards are up against the cap, only CLE and HOU has the money of those 5 teams

The Cards could offer Humphries to the Skins giving Washington depth behind Penn, or competition for the left tackle spot.

Don't know if that could free up the space needed but could definitely see Keim, whose seat is already warm at the least, trying to make a move to further help his new QB stay clean and make his team better.

New swing tackle?
We could use this guy if the price is right, just saying...

He's not replacing Staley or McGlinchey and he's not a guard so no.....[plus the price won't be right and the Redskins say they're not moving him]
I dont understand why Trent Williams is still holding out and looking for new contract. But he has 2 years contract and does same to Zeke?! I would like to say Boo them at Trent Williams and Zeke. They need honor for contract. If they dont care?! Lol

hes not holding out for more money, he wants nothing to do with the skins due to the training staff endangering his career and wants out
Skins turned down a 1st for him from the Pats...I wonder if that's legit.

Time for the rumor mill to kick in if it looks like Staley is seriously hurt.

Williams is 31 years old and has had a history of injuries.

We need that 1st next year for Joe's replacement.

For a team that needs to win this may be worth it, but there is no way Snyder makes a deal with a Shannahan without raping him first.

This! He has only played a full season twice in his 9 year career. He is old and big ... is he mobile enough for the 49er run scheme? He may be, I honestly don't know. But there is no way I would trade a 1st rounder for him.

He is younger than Staley and has 2 functional legs though

All true. But my point is I would not even think about trading a #1 for him. Would you? For the right price he would be a great pick up, especially now. But that price is in the 3rd round at best imo. Particularly since Staley should be back this year.
