Pathetic, I have been screaming all off-season to get cornerbacks in here and even before the trade deadline and nothing was done. This is what happens. Losses that would've been wins. The Green Bay game, the Colts game, this game, We could easily lose the Bengals game if we don't get a lot of pressure on Burrow. Got to love these injuries

I hear you, elguapo. The Niners may have drafted a couple of rookie CBs with promise but they're just that - rookies - and have already been exposed badly a few times as you mention. They should have signed in the offseason another quality vet like Casey Hayward...I know you've mentioned him a few times and I've always thought highly of his play. Another vet that could've not only produced but also helped the rookies in getting acclimated.

Now, this team is looking at more D. Johnson time with Moseley out....and against Burrow and WR Chase coming up this weekend.

Yeah Lott you're right about Hayward. Such an obvious choice and fix at cb. Then at the trade deadline there was Gillmore and Henderson. I guess our front office is not only content with bad corner play but they just don't value quality depth as well. Rookies doesn't always do the trick and as we saw that rookie corner helped cost us the Green Bay game and certainly this game. Donte Johnson is so bad but he did OK in the slot last year so I don't know if we're going to move K Williams to the outside but we will see.

That's a good point about possibly moving D. Johnson to the slot under the circumstances since he did pretty well all things considered last year.

K. Williams seems like he could play any CB position...just not sure they'd move him outside considering how effective he's been in the slot. Glad he's had a healthy stretch. Now, we just gotta hope for the best.

I played some CB back in junior high & high school...I'm a little older and on the tall side for a CB at 6'4"...I like to mix it up with WRs, though, and maybe they'd give me a tryout?
