Wow. I thought we might lose him but only because someone would either offer like a 3 or 4 year deal or give him a 1 year deal worth like $12+ Million or so. But neither happened. Niners could have easily matched this. I am hoping it's because they have bigger plans than Eman for that #2 corner.

It's a bummer, as he is really coming into his own. Sounds like the market is making him play a prove it year. The Niner defense is stacked, and have some great pieces in the secondary, which I think they will continue to enhance either in FA (if there's an affordable option) or in the draft. Good luck to Moseley, he was a good Niner.

My guess is he wanted more than a one year deal in SF but couldn't get it so he chose to restart somewhere else. And I think he's gonna be teaming up with his college teammate Cameron Sutton.

Will miss ya E-Man. He was a dawg back there. This FO really has an eye for defenders overall. Guys like K'Waun, E-Man, Al-Shaair, Greenlaw, none were highly touted but all really really solid for us. s**t Hufanga and Lenoir to name a couple more. Womack flashed a little last year. The beat goes on

Unreal. Gave freaking Darnold; a 3rd stringer that contract but couldn't afford Eman, a starter at 6mil

I doubt they spend big money on a FA corner. More likely they go with Ward, Lenoir, Thomas, and Womack and spend one of their 3rd rd picks on a corner. I think the Niners will be fine at corner given the pass rush they will have.

Shanahan thinks highly of Darnold and wanted to trade for him when he was a Jet. Lenoir made Moseley expendable.

Maybe the plan is to stack the DLine sooo much that we don't even need Corners...
