Maybe she just wasn't contributing enough. Honestly, I never heard her mentioned unless somebody specifically asked how's she doing. Of course the answer would always be positive since nobody would dare say anything negative for fear of being labeled a sexist.

Didnt you see her commercial where she's telling players what to do? And by players I mean actors cause that sure as s**t wasn't a practice.

Last year we thought it was lifted when that beat writer left for Seattle. Guess we were wrong.

Maybe too much a distraction , the spotlight got to her head perhaps , commercials etc, maybe was not contributing like she use to, just speculation of course

I wonder if the plan is she is going to follow saleh.

He is most likely going to poach from the staff. If lafleur is going to be his OC, it makes sense she can go help put the offense in.

And if saleh is not hired somewhere, she may have somewhere else in mind, get experience under another coach to help advance her career.

She doesn't have the experience or qualifications to be a run game coordinator, pass game coordinator, or QB coach on our staff as it currently stands. Nor do we expect any existing coach to change roles to that. Welker, Benton, Embree and the rest of the assistants should be pretty static.

Day is a question mark judging by the QB consistency issues. And with LaFleur and McDaniels potential departure, Shanahan will most likely look externally to fill all those spots.

I have to imagine it's more about progressing in her career vs. not being valued by the organization. 4 years as an offensive assistant...you'd want to have more responsibilities. I could see her on a staff with direct ties to her (R. Morris, R. Saleh) or her taking an elevated role in college.

I'm sure it will happen and if she doesn't get picked up by another team, the NFL will be keeping her out due to being a female. Her best bet is to try and get a WR job in college.

It was kind of ridiculous for her to get all this media attention and commercials just for being gay and assisting Wes Welker with the WR's.

The entire idea behind equality is that shes seen as no different than a male coach. Most fans dont even know who half our position coaches are, let alone the assistants.

I think only if she's promoted by another team and she had to still be under contract for another year here

It might only be for a head coach or coordinator position as well

This! Felt like a publicity stunt given the dark cloud we were trying to climb out of. From all of the open practices we went to, I saw nothing really excellent that she brought to the table. Then again we're not behind the scenes.
