Who cares?
She was a part time "summer" assistant up until last year. Never heard any players or fellow coaches talking highly of her either. I'm not saying they disliked her, but I doubt anyone on the squad is gonna miss her contributions.

Possibly seeing this as more of a chance to build her brand as the kids say, and try to make some serious dough. Not sure she'd ever get above low level assistant coach.
She has nearly 200k followers on instagram. (That's more than Aiyuk). Also does that weird Cameo stuff. Time to seize that chance probably.
