Probably be back in a year on XFL or the Rams.
whether he's back or not, its a complete joke to go with his last name.
he isnt injured at all.

You, as a 49er fan, should know Luck is not allowed to just come back to any team he wants. The Colts own his rights and another team would need to trade for him.

You're replying to same guy that literally believes that all nfl games are scripted lol.

In all Honesty they are though. About half way through the season I will drop my Super Bowl pick and most likely get it right just like every year. It's called reality television.

Jesus Christ...

The NFL and all major sports have been caught many times. That's why the NFL is a single entity. They split all profits and create storylines for more entertainment. Kinda like the time when the Warriors blew a (3-1) lead and ended the "Cleveland" Cavilers drought then months later the "Cleveland" Indians blew a 3-1 lead in the World Series to end the Cubs drought. Or the time 9/11 happened and the next week the patriots played the "Jets" then the "patriots" go on and win the super bowl. Or maybe like the year when Cam "Newton" went to Super Bowl "50" on the 50th anniversary of the "black panther party" created by Huey P. "Newton". Not clicking yet? What about the time to the two Harbaugh brothers met in Super Bowl 47. I'm sure everyone remember that and we all know Big brother always wins. Every years it ties into something. It's all for storylines and my advice would be get smart and make money have fun or don't. Don't worry movies aren't real either but you still watch

I blame boast for this.

Everything I stated was a fact lmao.
I actually think this season might be for the Niners. Super bowl this year is in Miami, our last Super Bowl we won was in Miami. The color of this years Super Bowl is Gold so right now it's looking good to be a niner fan. They also start us off against teams who have lots of connections to us. Week 1 vs the Bucs (John Lynch won a Super Bowl with them then week 2 we play the bengals who we beat in the Super Bowl. Many more connections than just that but those are the main 2. Be happy your a niner fan right now bud.

Not condoning the booing but it's not hard to understand where Colts fans are coming from, those fans feel that they got screwed over from a possible super bowl season, even if it's not Lucks fault. Just horrible circumstances. So tired of everyone trying to take some moral high road, Colts fans love Luck and I'm sure they'll regret it later, unfortunately raw human emotions got the best of them last night

Funny...I'm tired of the opposite. Maybe if ppl took the moral high road sometimes - they would come out looking like decent compassionate human beings.

And, fans thinking they got screwed over is exactly what I mean by fans being selfish and narrow-minded.

Passionate fans who go to games and buy their merchandise. Without the fans there would be no football, and they would have to find a new line of work.

This applies to every job. Without a customer - no one would have a job. When ppl have to retire or quit their job - they don't do it when it's convenient for the customers.

Buying tickets and/or merchandise makes you a customer, you don't get to run the lives of the players.

Is booing them in a stadium considered running their lives?

Being passionate about a team doesn't mean it is always cheering them and not criticizing when things go wrong. They have the ability to voice their displeasure as long as they are not throwing beer bottles or threatening the players with violence.

I wouldn't of booed him, but I'm not going to demonize the fans that did.

"They have lost the privilege to be NFL fans."

Calling them selfish is not demonizing. They're thinking about themselves and not realizing what Luck is going thru. That is by definition - selfish.

Every person in that stadium can quit their job or retire when they want. What's there to criticize or show displeasure about? They're booing him because they want him to man-up and play thru the injuries or him to make the decision before FA/draft. Why do they expect that from him...? It's because many fans think that without them - these guys will have no jobs, so these players should be eternally grateful to them.

They're not criticizing his performance or something horrible he did off the field. They're booing because he decided to retire on his terms and not when they think he should have retired.

Not everyone. You quit a teaching job midway thru and they can have your teacher's license revoked. There are jobs that you make a commitment to and a team is one of those jobs. At the office they can easily fill the job whether it's March or September. There is absolutely a time to retire in sports and it's not 2 weeks before the year.

If you have valid medical reasons - you can most definitely quit your teaching job mid-year. You can also take medical leaves if you need to.

And students who like the teacher are not gonna boo or criticize the teacher for leaving them. They'll likely be a little concerned and hope for best health for the teacher.

And Luck wouldn't have been booed if he had a season ending injury and then retired. But he had an unknown how severe mystery ankle injury.

Plus they're kids so they don't know any better. They have no idea that the teacher will be replaced by some doofus.

I think Luck knows better if he had a season ending or career ending injury or how severe his injuries were. And there is mental health aspect to this. Like I said - he gets to decide his own career.

And if a doofus replaces their outgoing teacher - it is not the fault of their teacher.

If Luck knew in his heart and mind that there is no way he can do the job - it is admirable that he left rather than sitting out and keep cashing the checks.

Luck can do the job. It's just that he's not an idiot and was probably smart with the money he already made. These athletes make enough in 3 years so that their money can make them money. I would do the same thing if I lost the desire to grind through keeping my body in top condition. I'd collect my rookie money and be outsky. Invest those millions and live a damn good life.

As of now there's no evidence that this was season or career ending. As for the mental health aspect that's an off-season thing he should of weighed heavier. If your desire to play is dependent on 100% health you might be in the wrong place. He did get to decide and fans told him what they thought of that. I'm fine with both of those.

He got paid near the bottom of the recession so he's probably made a pretty good chunk at this point.
