They are a lot better talent wise than they were a couple years ago. Much better OL, much better defense. With Luck they are a playoff team. Without him, I think they stay competitive but 8 wins is their ceiling.

brissett isn't good enough, good backup for a game or two, not for a season

I think he'd just had enough...injuries are part of the game, but he seemed to have more than his share. He's got to take care of no. 1...not a selfish move, just one he felt he had to make. Best wishes for an extremely talented guy...for whatever he does in the future.
