Irsay has definitely cemented his legacy as a villain in Indy.
- gets rid of Peyton for Luck
- can't protect Luck
- Luck calls it quits right as the OL is stabilized.

You honestly think he knew for months and just wanted to string them along? Why?
He just got tired of rehabbing. He rehabbed for 2 years straight, then must have had another setback with more rehab coming. It's too much for some people

Ryan Grigson ruined him and robbed all NFL fans from witnessing what was suppose to be a hall of fame career. This decade has been one bizarre clusterf**k in every aspect of the world

Was it really the ankle/calf? Or was there some other injury, maybe the shoulder regressed?
Hopefully the full story will come out soon.

Luck took serious beatings and because of his size (sounds like Cam) he didn't get the NFL protection that Brady or Brees received. Luck took damage kidneys from hits he took a few years back ? Don't think anyone could call him a wuss.

Luck said for the past 4 years it's been rehab after rehab where he can't even enjoy the game anymore. Dude was beat up, this should put all GM's on notice to fix the oline at all costs when having a franchise qb but then again it's common sense. Grigson the GM before Ballard was an idiot

Bad for the colts. Bad for the NFL. Bad for fans of football. Bummer all around.

If he heals it wouldn't be surprising to see him return next year.

This is a very rough game. Most people who have not played at this level will never understand what we put our bodies through season after season. We don't need the sympathy because this is what we signed up for but to "boo" a man that battled for that city is disgraceful.
