Not a good look from your franchise QB that is supposedly the leader of the team. Prior to his draft there were several reports of scouts questioning his leadership skills and of course his commitment (the whole baseball thing)
Its not like he is unwanted by the staff since they are the ones that reached for him and built that team around him. I'm not pinning their epic collapse on Kyler but he sure had a hand in it. He made some horrid decisions in the last playoff game.

I bet Kyler wanted his extension and money now that he is eligible and the Cards told him that they want to try another year of him with a rookie salary. Cards have been super reckless with their cap and cant afford to keep all their players if they extend Murray now
That would be a better scenario for us but this all seems personal. Deleting all your cardinals-affiliated social media seems like he is pissed about something.
Hopefully he is on his way to Oakland though haha
but being hurt and the way he was acting/demeanor on the sidelines towards the second half of the season... i saw a broken man
I hope you're right. I hate going up against that squirrel.

Kyler seems to have that cam Newton symptom. Pouts when his team is losing bad or things aren't going their way.
Idk if Trey is gonna be an elite QB but I'm willing to bet that he won't be that type of guy.

Long time between now and the season. He'll get everything figured out no doubt about it.

Just seems like a case of the NFL being too big for him, and him coming up small in big moments. Can't see that far down the future, and is micromanaging the situation. Needs to grow up and communicate with the team. But now it may be a little too late; cardinals have unfollowed him also. His short sightedness will cost him millions. And there's little he can do now. Best bet is to just go play shortstop.

Read he's taken himself off all social media platforms WRT anything Cardinals. Could be a bad sign for continuing to be their QB. Even when the Cards were smokin' hot during the first half of the season, something was off with him. He had some good games, but his consistency hasn't really been there. Bucs do have a better O-line than AZ does...who knows. Virtually nothing would surprise me...there could be a number of QB needy teams even after FA and the draft.. All I can say is buyer beware.

I thought he was the second coming of Wilson, guess I was wrong. In half a season he had a remarkable decline. Still, think there is something there but is he worth the big contract?

Wilson is built to handle NFL hits. I don't think Kyler has that build.

Teams learned to keep him in the pocket at all cost. Like Cincy did to Mahomes in the second half two weeks ago.

Kyler has a good arm and is accurate when he throws deep. They made a point of trying to keep him from running last year and I'm not sure that works with him. His completion % was 69% which is up from 2020. His completions per game was about the same. YPG were also up but so were sacks (slightly) The big difference was his rushing yards. He went fro 800+ to around 400. So what they ended up doing is helping his passing a little but they took away his legs a little.
