That leg injury that he had never fully healed either. He's a good QB, just not great. But this showed very poor maturity.

My guess is this is a contract situation. I imagine his agent has been in talks with the FO, most likely is pushing for a huge deal and the Cards probably don't think he's worth a 7 year close to 300 mil contract that he's probably seeking after seeing Pat get money.

And best believe that contract that Pat signed, GMs across the league hated it. Every agent who represents a good young QB is probably thinking they could get similar deals for their guys now.
We gave him the nickname "Goo-Goo Gaga."
Murray should just retire from football and go back to playing baseball.

Jimmy G would never.

Maybe he and Antonio Brown can play on the same team, and share that Uber ride home when the game is almost over
Lol what a weak little man. This is what happens when you don't give out participation trophies!!!

Wow, imagine trusting a guy like that with the keys to your franchise.

I feel like the opposite. This is what happens when you DO give out participation trophies.

He went to Oklahoma. He's used to only losing 0-1 games a year. Can't handle adversity.

Yeah that's what I meant

Taking himself out is kind of AB-b***h-move. However, why does a QB have to play until the very end of game that has been already decided.

QB is more than just an athlete. They are the face of the franchise, defacto locker room leader. You need your qb to want to be there for every snap and to only come off the field when they get pulled. Taking yourself out of a playoff game as a QB if you can still play is a poor look both publiically and internally for a team.

If this is true, it reminds of the NFL Films clip with Tony Dungy and Bill Parcells. Parcells is telling Dungy he's had a 350 hitter for 8 years (referencing Lawrence Taylor) and his guy was making 950K a year (huge money at the time). Guys then hit 350 once and wanted to get paid 950K. Mahommes is worth the money. Four years and four AFC Championship appearances. And a lesser QB, probably ANY other QB against us in that Super Bowl loses, because in spite of all the holding, Mahommes was running for his life and looked very defeated after that pick. Murray is nowhere near as accomplished and the idea of any agent/QB looking to get paid that amount of money Mahommes is making, I understand it's their job to get their client the best deal, but as it standards there is no one short of Aaron Rodgers that should be getting what Mahommes and Allen are making in terms of APY.

this can't be real
