I forgot the 49ers had a Right Tackle.

Kidding aside, Brunskill is probably one of the top surprising players for me, the other one for me is Emmanuel Mosley.

He made himself some $$$ with his opportunity. Good for him, great for us. We always need line depth going into the 2nd half.
damn and he is only 25. Looks like he is only signed til the end of the season. Is he going to be a RFA? Would def be a candidate for a tender.

Even with Staley and McGlinchey coming back, i expect Brunskill to be the first man in if any of our guards go down with a injury

Peanuts. Lets keep him.

I'm afraid my post was not quite clear.

I am not advocating cutting him. He would be good depth if nothing else should Brunskill beat him out at guard.

At a time when the cap is becoming more of an issue, it might come down to replacing Person with a rookie backup. I don't like the sound of that but if that is a part of keeping AA and Buck and Dee, then it might happen.
Knew nothing about him when he replaced McG. Thought the going gets rough with Brunskill and Jimmy on his ass the next few games until McG comes back.

I was so wrong.

When we look back at 2019, the tandem of Skule and Brunskill might be more memorable than the silly love bros of Staley and McG.

I wouldn't go that far. Both rookies have performed well during the injury absence of our starters, especially Brunskill. Would I rather have the starters back for next week? Absolutely. Am I more confident in the lines' future after these past four weeks? Absolutely, too.
25? He looks 37.

McG looks 35. They ain't no good if they don't look old at RT.

Good lord, I just realized he looks just like Jim Burt.
To the bench you go. Thanks for nothing!

Will he take over for Person when he's gone and kick outside when needed? What a find!

Possibly. Things may change by the end of the year, but he supposedly has played there before.

McG isn't a guarantee. Staley is. Brunskill may play Monday night.
