Brunskill was one of the worst linemen I had ever seen in recent history... What do you guys think Dan Sees in this guy?

I think he was still not fully grown into his conversion from TE to OL. He was trying to play OL at 275 pounds I think when they first got him. Their loss, our gain!

Laken has been playing well. I dunno why we'd take out a starter who is playing well to put in a backup. Just be happy we have depth there.

If Garland struggles at Center, they may move Person to center and have Brunskill play RG.

If Garland struggled badly, I actually think they'd have Brunskill as the next option. Brunskill played center in the pre-season as well, FYI.

Looks like he might be getting the start at RG this week, with Person being listed as questionable. If Person is out, then we'll only have Skule on the bench as we stand right now, so it looks like someone will get cut or put on IR. With Sherman back I wonder if Dontae gets cut to make room for a O-lineman?

Also how many more years do we control the rights on Brunskill? Same for Moseley+Mullens?

Need to keep Johnson at least for this week in case Sherman reaggravates his hamstring in the game. We can release Helm since Toilolo is back and can put Helm back on PS.

I'm sure a lot of you recall Shanahan saying he viewed Brunskill as a guard more than a tackle. Anybody got a link of that quote?

Doesn't say anything about Shanahan viewing Brunskill more as a guard than Tackle.

How confident are you that he'll win the RG job and be a 16 game starter at a higher level than Person?

And what are you basing this off of?
