Yeah, he's already helping several college players who all did well under his tutelage.

Probably Skule? Skule sucks.

Thanks. I'd definitely have Brunskill compete but realistically we all know how much Kyle loves MM's run blocking. But I'd be all for it!

As a Notre Dame fan, it sucks to see McG getting abused every snap.

With that said, Kyle and Lynch will probably extend him

Now these are stats that make more sense - individual performance vs team performance. Your OL is only as strong as the weakest link - ie - everyone can be blocking well, but if a DC sees a weak spot, he'll exploit it and disrupt the offense. Essentially, keep doing it until they counter, if they can. When they're two weaknesses on the LOS for offense (C and RT) and add in injuries (availability metric) at WR, you get what we saw on offense: paralysis in the passing game.

It would be so nice to just have one average healthy season. I still have NO IDEA who this team really is. Every week it's a new lineup. Naturally the focus is on availability of the QB but even that's a microcosm for the entire team.

Just look at these crazy health ranks from 2014 to Present:
26th, 26th, 24th, 23rd, 29th, 27th (Superbowl) and we all know last year has to be 32nd (I'll know in April).

Imagine, just imagine 16th.

100%
And that goes for both offense and defense.

When have we had all **starting**players available for a 5 - 6 game stretch at any period over the past 5 years? I'm sooooo tired of asking "how good can this team really be?"

Preach. And nothing pisses me off more knowing that both the Rams and Seahawks are #1 and #2 in health respectively, over this same period.

I remember Brunskill doing okay at OT in 2019 spot duty. He didn't seem to do as well at OG last season. In his defense, he was learning OG.

Maybe he wants a break from football.

Pisses me off and gives me hope. If we were number 1 in health and got those results (Rams and Seahawks), I'd be more willing to blow the team up.

And yes, I'd love middle of the pack. Might be worth two Super Bowls.

Yeah I'm sick and tired of this we definitely need to explore all options even if that is to get paranormal investigators and medicine men on our staff, I don't care. If we are even in the top 10 in team health we win a Super Bowl last year and most likely get to the SB this year.

And then flexed to Center. Dude is our Adam Snyder 2.0 until he can establish himself as a high quality starter.

That's a great way of looking at it.

Where'd you get these rankings from? Link? I'm in the mood to torture myself for some reason. Lol.

My own thread.

I'll add 2020 once the data is out in March/April.

Hey NC, can you do an analysis of how many games we play on AstroTurf per year? I know for a fact that the Rams stadium and the Seadderall stadium are AstroTurf, so that's at least 4 games out of the year on AstroTurf. Maybe there is a correlation about injuries and AstroTurf that we play on - in opposing game sites. In other words, do we play *more* or *less* than most teams in the NFL on AstroTurf (I know our stadium and the AZ Cardinal stadium are grass).

Funny you say that. I just heard on a podcast that stated there was something between 30-40% more injuries on artificial grass fields compared to grass.
