I'd love him to nail down a spot and have him a starter.
Brunskill is either the teams C or RG in 2021 IMO, depends on if we get Alex Mack, which I think is more than likely.
As for other spots, I hope, and still do think Trent, and Juice will be back. As for LG I'm cool with Laken, I'd even extend him, it saves a bit of money $2.78M. As for RG & RT, I hope McGlinchey gets his s**t together, cause he isn't getting that 5th yr option picked up. I hope we get Trent, Juice, Hyder & Verrett signed, also want K'Waun back, but I think he goes to the Jets, he's a NY/NJ kid, plus with Saleh there, he might end up picking them, so we could easily sign someone like Mike Hilton or Desmond King for less. Draft wise, idk, but we need to draft a C/OG to groom.
I agree. I think Trent will be back, and maybe Staley comes back as an OLine quality control assistant and coaches the offense along with Foerster. That might help Glinchy. *IF* (big if there) we get a Tyreek Hill WR in the draft, or another Aiyuk/Deebo - I can see Kyle going away more and more from Juszczyk and more towards a three WR set. Again, big if there. In other words, personally, I'd like Kyle to draft (or get via UDFA) more of a power run kind of running back that can also run fast. Usually those are in the higher rounds (ie. big 220 pound back that can run sub 4.4 in the forty) I think a back like that will be better suited not only for Kyle's outside zone but also the inside zone/power-gap type of blocking for the four minute offense, this is to close out teams like KC in the fourth quarter.
Having said that, I think it looks like Juszczyk is coming back as well as Trent. Kyle loves Juszczyk and probably will pay him 6+ million to retain his services along with Trents 20+ million APY. If there is one guy Paraag should backload a contract on - it would be Trent. If we get Trent for three years before he retires, that's three years of high draft picks we save.
Saleh: I can see him picking off **A LOT** of our free agents. I can see BeatHard and Mullens going to the Jets. I hope this is another 2018 draft where McGlinchy went to us that year. I'd love it if we get a raw but talented Center and Left Tackle to back up (Possibly) Alex Mack and Trent.
