Nice. Brunskill was the unsung hero in 2019 when both starting OT went down. He played his best football at RT and could give competition and depth for the position.
At RG he is alright, he shutdowns Aaron Donald but gets beaten by weaker competition. At Center he is not very good.
Anyway, it's great to have a guy who can play the 5 positions.

Sign him long term. Will be a top RG.

Yeah I wonder why they didn't? He's beyond proven his worth playing every freaking position across the line

Eh, I won't go there. His quickness works better on the outside. I could see him taking over the RT spot if they have trouble resigning McGlinchey after 2021.

Will be a good replacement for McGlinchey.
Brunskill did really well for a tackle all things considered. Was a pretty mediocre guard but i can't put that all on him. I'd just rather he be available as a swing tackle than starting at G/C

I prefer Brun at RG

He was definitely better at RG than C but not a ton better. I prefer him as a swing T. Let him and Shon Coleman and a late round rookie T battle it out.

This. I badly want Brunskill at tackle. Whether its starting or swing, put him at tackle.

Glad we tendered him. No brainer.

My OL wish is a) TRent in the bag, b) McG comes into camp and is unrecognizable with all the added weight and muscle, c) We take Mack first crack out of the box, and d) Brun at RG.

One thing i haven't done is any iso on Laken. My impression was, except for a couple catastrophic games where we had PS and Walmart baggers starting , Laken did fine. Anybody by chance do any iso on him? Impression is one thing, film is another.
Another reason to have Brunkskll competing at RT or backing up both spots- is Shon Coleman here after next season?
Move Bruskill to RT and move McAnorexic to RG

Good. Is he going to be our RG? At worse he is quality depth.

I hope not. He's a much, much better tackle and the most proven back-up tackle we have on the team.

playing guard is easier though. if you have the talent to play tackle, you surely have the talent to play guard.

i'm sure that if we fully commit to him to be a G, he will be decent at least. all he needs to do is beef up a bit and learn different blocking assignments.

he can't be worse than our previous RGs over the last several years.

Time to bench his ass and start the rookie. It can't get any worse than how he's played this season.
