I think people are being too negative. Sanders is a bonafide receiver going to a now Super Bowl contender. Age doesn't matter in the nfl. Look at tom Brady he's 42 and still balling. Sanders is gonna ball for us and help out pornstar jimmy. draft picks don't matter sometimes other then first round picks. Also salary cap shouldn't be a problem when we have one of the best cap guys in the nfl. Y'all really doubting Paraag??? Cmon guys.

So you think Lynch would hit on those picks and they'd be better than a 32 year old Sanders? Positive Sus has made an appearance
Sanders in the last year of his deal. This is just a rental. That 3rd round pick would be a steal in terms of salary and years locked into the rookie scale.
But you have to remember, we have his comp pick rights now which will most likely be a 3rd or 4th, so we get one of those two picks we traded back just a few spots further down if he's just a rental.

Shanahan loves Sanders and they've been linked to him before. I'm really excited to see how he does
Agree this is better than the Sanu deal. I actually like that Sanders is a free agent in 2020. The young WRs on this team are the future of the team. They need playing time to develop and Sanders off the team in 2020 will allow that plan to unfold. For now he picks up the slack since the youngsters aren't getting it done.

Sanders knows the offense, has great hands and is known for his route running and ability to create separation. Hopefully he gives Jimmy a new reliable target!
Welcome Manny!
Wait.. was he on a kyle team before ?

This. The difference between that (expectedly) late 4th and early 5th isn't going to be much.
So really its a likely late 3rd rounder plus the value of a 6th rounder going to Denver.
Thank you for saying something logical I don't think people are thinking before they post. Either way we really don't have a weak link on this team now
👌

Exactly!!!
Plus look at how well we have done with undrafted FA's such as Breida, Mosley, Wilson, Al-Shazir, etc

Niners needed a receiver to stretch the field . Deebo is still a rookie. Both Dante Pettis and Marquise Goodwin are too inconsistent this season. Now with E.Sanders, Kyle Shannahan can really open up the playbook and give Jimmy G an additional weapon along with Stone Cold Kittle!

Rich Scangarello was the QB coach for the 49ers last season and is now the DEN offensive coordinator. They most likely run a similar system with similar verbiage.

Don't forget Juicecheck if need be. So many weapons under the radar.
Damn good job by Shannylynch imo..
As for those complaining about losing those picks, arik and Solly could be up for sale? Idk. But I am loving this team as is right now. Stacked imo.

2nd time Elway has gotten him to overpay (Bibbs trade). Seems Lynch is a little too easy on his old friend.
How exactly is it an overpay when the Patriots gave up a 2nd for a possession receiver that hasn't been anywhere near as successful as Sanders?
You trade back 4 or 5 spots in the 1st and you get your third back. The difference between a late 4th and an early 5th is approximately a 6th rounder.
If Sanders gives you a better shot of getting to and winning in the playoffs, you absolutely make that deal.
