Anyone who thinks he's not a good WR obviously doesn't watch much football. Sanders is perfect for this system. Sure handed too. Dig it!!!!

Better than Sanu and cost less to get. It'll be more than worth it if he comes on a decent deal moving forward.

Shanahan loves Sanders and they've been linked to him before. I'm really excited to see how he does

Agree this is better than the Sanu deal. I actually like that Sanders is a free agent in 2020. The young WRs on this team are the future of the team. They need playing time to develop and Sanders off the team in 2020 will allow that plan to unfold. For now he picks up the slack since the youngsters aren't getting it done.

They can learn from a vet like Sanders too. Look what Sherm did for our secondary

Lynch got worked.

Just like the playoff defences the niners will be facing soon. Going to get worked

Lol the Patriots gave up a 2nd for a 30 year old possession receiver. Fans always have these ridiculous expectations that other teams will just give away quality players.

THIS! If the front office doesn't bend over another team's GM and then "bring out the gimp" from Pulp Fiction everyone be like "OMG we got hosed"

I'm sick and tired of dropped passes and Garoppolo having to rely on the ONE guy, a tight end, to get open and catch passes. We have a real shot at another ring THIS year and our receiver corps needs help. We have some really tough competition in the NFC., and if we (knock on wood) get there and face the Patriots, yeah we got D but their D ain't no joke either.

We gave up a 3rd, (effectively) traded down our 4th slightly. We didn't mortgage our future on him.

My dick is hard!!!!
Traded down from the late 4th into early 5th and gave up a late 3rd. Don't we get a comp if he bolts? Not so bad.
I don't see why Sanders would want to walk after this year. He's been losing a lot while catching balls from Brock Osweiler, Trevor Siemien, and now Joe Flacco. Now he'll get the chance to win in his sunset years catching balls from Jimmy G.
Dont we get a 3rd round comp pick when Sanders walks in the off season? so essentially we traded a late 4th and got back a early 5th right?
Lol fans complain about everything. how about just sit back and watch. you dont know half of what the org does
I like the move. We may trade and defensive lineman for some picks. Or get comp picks.

I would love to see Hurd come back tho. I think Taylor is done.
Now offload Pettis and get some of those picks back. Thnx
Hooray we traded for Webster!
Emmanuel Sanders vs. Sanu stat comparison:

Sanders:
QB: Joe Flacco (2019), Case Keenum (2018)
2018 stats: 12 games, 71 rec, 868 yards, 4 TD (also added 4 rushes for 53 yards and 1 TD)
2019 stats: 7 games, 30 rec, 367 yards, 2 TD

Sanu:
QB: Matt Ryan
2018 Stats: 16 games, 66 rec, 838 yards, 4 TD (also added 7 rushes for 44 yards)
2019 Stats: 7 games, 33 rec, 313 yards, 1 TD (also added 2 rushes for 3 yards)

Sanders as of right now has been by far the more productive player with far lesser QBs throwing to him. He may be a couple years older than Sanu, and may lack Sanu's height, but you can argue he's the better player, and we gave up less than Sanu cost the Patriots. So... Yeah.

I agree 100%. I think there have been two picks thrown by Garrapolo when throwing to Pettis, where I feel a veteran receiver would have caught the ball or prevented the pick.
