lol if you have been "lock and step with Kyle" then why have you criticized 75% of his moves?
And wanted him fired in his first year
We should be excited for this trade for a few reasons:

1) Front office is being aggressive realizing we have a true shot at going deep in the playoffs
2) Should give team more confidence with another proven Vet.
3) Sanders is plug and play

Let's go for winning SB this yr!!!!

Hes on pace for 900 yds and 4-5 TD's, so I guess. Just seems like a lot for a guy Denver needed to deal. Rental player who is 32. Hm.

If hes good, great trade. If hes mediocre, our 2020 draft is going to suck.

Yes, he is a ton better than nearly everyone. With tree stumps for Qb's he is still putting up nearly double the numbers of anyone here and he is not that far removed from being a big name brand receiver and most importantly he runs clean route and has good hands because right now we can only seem to get one or the other out of our current pool of guys. Plus he can teach Deebo and Hurd more about the position than Goodwin has ever know.

Do what teams like Baltimore, NE and Seattle do. Trade back, get your 3rd back. There's always ways of adding more picks but none of those picks are helping this team win games at the moment.

Sanders:
QB: Joe Flacco (2019), Case Keenum (2018)
2018 stats: 12 games, 71 rec, 868 yards, 4 TD (also added 4 rushes for 53 yards and 1 TD)
2019 stats: 7 games, 30 rec, 367 yards, 2 TD

Sanu:
QB: Matt Ryan
2018 Stats: 16 games, 66 rec, 838 yards, 4 TD (also added 7 rushes for 44 yards)
2019 Stats: 7 games, 33 rec, 313 yards, 1 TD (also added 2 rushes for 3 yards)

Sanders as of right now has been by far the more productive player with far lesser QBs throwing to him. He may be a couple years older than Sanu, and may lack Sanu's height, but you can argue he's the better player, and we gave up less than Sanu cost the Patriots. So... Yeah.

Thank you! Let's all hear how Bill Belichick got raped as well ha ha

Absolutely.

Hes on pace for 900 yds and 4-5 TD's, so I guess.

This pace is better than anyone we have, and he now comes to a much better offense with a better QB and players around him.

Just seems like a lot for a guy Denver needed to deal. Rental player who is 32. Hm.

A 3rd really isnt that much to give up.

If hes good, great trade. If hes mediocre, our 2020 draft is going to suck.

This doesnt make sense to me. If he is mediocre, it doesnt change the team at all. It would be inserting a mediocre WR for a mediocre WR. Not sure why you think this could negatively impact our draft position. He absolutely wont be hurting this team.

also, seems like a desperate move for a team whose goal is NOT the super bowl this season. We were developing for long term, not in win now mode.

Also, how is the guys contract?

wtf you mean the SB isnt the goal? We got the top record in the NFC one of the best Ds in the league and one of the best overall teams. How is the SB not the goal? That's always the goal.

This I assume is the truth, trade back to pick up a 2nd and a 3rd rounder. fingrs crossed. OK with trade only if he plays well and he gets and extension, if not a 3rd rounder for a rental is kinda steep.
Good value and at the end of the day the team is getting better.

A third and a fourth? Really?
You know that´s the first time I don´t understand the front office.
The raiders paid less for AB.
I don ´t get the urge to get a WR.
We had enough number 2 I think and if they could just try to not drop half the time, everything was fine.
Shanny is way too impatient with the receivers he wanted in the draft the last two years.
That´s Pierre Garcon 2.0 waiting to happen.
We made this try like we´re going all in for the superbowl. Let´s try first to go to the PO for once.
And could we just stop trading with the Broncos?

Dude it was basically a 3rd they got a 5th back. We swapped picks. Low 4th high 5th is gonna be a difference of 20 spots.

You won't be throwing up watching sanders on the field the rest of the season. He's a damn good WR

Yeah I should take it this way I know.
But I love Deebo and I think that Pettis has serious talent so that´s why I don ´t get the pressure to get a WR.
Maybe I´m a old school dumbass but I would rather use this picks for a trade for a OL or a DL.
And I think I would have even prefer a TE.

Sanders is free agent at the end of the season also. Do we resign him?
How does it work with Buckner and Kittle?
Shanahan will be excited of course but sorry I´m not fan of this move, not at all.
And I didn´t want Sanu either.
The only one I could stomach was AJ Green because he ´s a true improvement on paper. And he´s injury prone.

Lol the Patriots gave up a 2nd for a 30 year old possession receiver. Fans always have these ridiculous expectations that other teams will just give away quality players.

THIS! If the front office doesn't bend over another team's GM and then "bring out the gimp" from Pulp Fiction everyone be like "OMG we got hosed"

I'm sick and tired of dropped passes and Garoppolo having to rely on the ONE guy, a tight end, to get open and catch passes. We have a real shot at another ring THIS year and our receiver corps needs help. We have some really tough competition in the NFC., and if we (knock on wood) get there and face the Patriots, yeah we got D but their D ain't no joke either.

We gave up a 3rd, (effectively) traded down our 4th slightly. We didn't mortgage our future on him.

I hear you but kind of ARE mortgaging some of the future since we now have no 2nd, 3rd OR 4th round picks. So....what exactly is your definition of mortgaging the future?

The future is now
Big win today by 9ers

You'd have to trade them as a package for a 7th

This. The difference between that (expectedly) late 4th and early 5th isn't going to be much.

So really its a likely late 3rd rounder plus the value of a 6th rounder going to Denver.

Thank you for saying something logical I don't think people are thinking before they post. Either way we really don't have a weak link on this team now

👌
This

When you put it that way (the tweet) it's not bad at all. What were the 49ers gonna do with that 4th anyway, draft a long snapper to go with Wishy?

It's still bad to me. A 3rd round pick for a 10 game (plus playoffs) rental? That's steep. Hopefully the comp pick for him is a 3rd if we can't re-sign him.

It is the going rate and a clear need. I wanted to get out with a 4th this year and one the next. But Sanu pushed that out of reach. We need the upgrade, somebody with reliable move the chains ability through the air besides Kittle. We are in position to make a run here, it is no sure thing that another like this will come along again next year. Time to shoot your shot.
