Really feel like we could've gotten him with just a 4th or a 4th and Goodwin or something. I mean, we all wanted to trade for a WR but we do have like 27 receivers on the team already which won't be utilized so I think we should've sent one their way with just ONE draft pick
You think they gave up extra comp just for the heck of it? That was the going rate after Sanu went for a 2nd.

Not only do they add Sanders, they kept him away from other NFC competitors such as Carolina, New Orleans and Green Bay.

Oh for sure GB was in the hunt for Sanders. Rodger's WRs are dropping left and right.

also, seems like a desperate move for a team whose goal is NOT the super bowl this season. We were developing for long term, not in win now mode.

Also, how is the guys contract?
Dude. We're 6-0. Our Window is wide open with this defense.

my my... after being lectured to for the last two days.. we do not need anyone. we like our guys. we just need to develop our guys.. oh and kyle knows better than you fans cuz he SAID we do not need anyone.. you go by what they do and not what they say,,, and despite what some homers think... we were not fine with our current crop of underachievers,., now kick jordon out of here. and maybe you trade a guy like pettis or bourne for a 5th or 6th to try to get some picks back. and cj for a 6th,, great trade.. exactly what we needed. he is better than anyone not named kittle on our team. he can start on sunday right away.. my my.. it seems like many of us fans were lock and step with kyle

lol if you have been "lock and step with Kyle" then why have you criticized 75% of his moves?
And wanted him fired in his first year
lie.. never called for him to be fired. nice deflection guys. but sorry.. you two were wrong.. admit it and stop being a whiner. our current guys were not fine and the coach agreed.

The team is 6-0 and are better than expected,so the goal post has been moved. The team needs a vet to help Jimmy. Did you see the slant route Bourne ran last week, when he let the db undercut him and almost get the pick?
That's a lot to give up for a very mediocre receiver.

I suppose it's better than giving up a 1st + others for AJ Green though.

I agree the patriots defense is overrated. They don't have one very good pass rusher except Michael Bennett and they are limiting his playing time. The patriots have played what the five worst offenses in all of football? The Jets twice? Miami Buffalo Washington and so on and so on I mean come on man think people

Kyle Van Noy and Chase Winovich are very good

I don't agree especially going up against those offenses it's like a cakewalk. But yeah I guess I'm used to our defensive lineman so my standards are pretty high
If we win the Superbowl this season, I am good with this trade, otherwise I don't like it. We will see how this season plays out.

we could have traded 2 first rounders for a position we already have
Yea hes 32, but I think he can have steve smith like longevity. I think he can produce into his late 30s

Alright, so who do we trade before the deadline to get some capital back?

I'm cool with trading Pettis and Soft Solomon.

i would trade cj.. soloman. pettis or goodwin. also cut mathews. 85 was right about him

Goodwin is a goner next year, saves $3.85M in 2020 and $7M in 2021.

Don't see Pettis being traded.

Agree on the rest just not Thomas now, we should not deplete our DLine, trade him in 2020.
