An absolutely horrible trade. We now don't have any picks in the 2nd,3rd or 4th rounds. A 3rd and 4th round pick for a 32 year old receiver who's a free agent at years end and a 5th rounder. We way over paid.

I know there's no chance SF could find a way to recoup some of those picks by trading down in the first
Becomes our #1 receiver. Will play inside and help take coverage off of kittle. Shanahan will get him open. We just got better.

s**te deal for a very old player in decline not to mention coming back from serious injury.

The Patriots got the cream (namely Sanu who is by far the better player), instead the 9ers got the bottom of the barrel by overpaying someone who won't add to the current WR corps with the active players we have. Big mistake in my opinion.

Don't kid ourselves, our hope lies in whether Jalen Hurd will be able to come back who is a difference maker type WR that the 9ers need and not just another small and shifty guy that we have in abundance.

Lol.

Double lol

Sanu is younger, not better.

He just thinks size = better
Great point by Sab "Emmanuel will teach Dante Pettis on how to play the WR position"

Gonna need to trade down a few times.

That's the New England way, trade down from a late first and pick up multiple later round picks. Obviously it works for them so I'm fine trying to emulate that. I'm ok with this trade, Sanders still has tread on those tires and should help us

When you have championship aspirations you deal 3rd and 4th round picks.

But I guess this fanbase went from rooting for losses against rivals just for a draft pick to being a championship contender in less than a calendar year. Might take some time for some people to catch up.
If we don't resign him and he walks, don't we get a third round comp pick? Which won't be far off from our already end of the third round pick

I hope you're being sarcastic because Mohamed Sanu is trash compared to this guy, he is like at Slow tight end that can't do s**t and think about this before you post next time, he has Julio Jones Hooper Calvin ridley Matt Ryan taking all the attention away from him and he still can't do jack s**t. he's not even close to a top 50 receiver in this league. That post made me chuckle

Don't sleep on Miami. There incompetence is stronger than you're giving them credit for.

the 4th for a 5th is going to essentially be a wash if current trends continue. So its really Sanders for a super low 4th
This only opens up our offense that much more. Kittle is going to be wide open a lot more now that Sanders is coming to town. Even for the younger guys it will make their jobs easier as well because if teams are doubling Kittle and Sanders now 2 other people are left wide open. I cant wait for this Go Niners!

Hope lies in a player who has never dominated at the NFL level yet?

2018 stats: 12 games, 71 rec, 868 yards, 4 TD (also added 4 rushes for 53 yards and 1 TD)
2019 stats: 7 games, 30 rec, 367 yards, 2 TD

Sanders as of right now has been BY FAR the more productive player with far lesser QBs throwing to him.
