WR Emmanuel Sanders, BUF

Its always hilarious reading these posts especially the ones that question future payroll like they're Paarag or act like they know the exact ins and outs of how the cap works..

This is an upgrade, this team needs a WR that can do something.. I mean the Patriots gave up a 2nd round pick for Sanu, that's hilarious.. And it's been reported if they don't resign Emmanuel and Arik there's a chance of getting a 3rd and 5th comp pick

He looked like Jerry Rice when he still had some hair.
Kidding aside, the 3rd and 4th round picks can't win us any games this year.
The 49ers finally realized and believe they have a playoff team and don't want to wait until next year to get to the promised land (beat the Patriots in SB).
Heck, just having the chance to keep the Patriots from winning a SB in my mind is already worth the trade for Emmanuel Sanders!

We may be able to recoup those picks with draft day trades, if not I'm good with Dee Ford and Sanders. It would be hard to land a 3rd or 4th round receiver that can help our offense right now. Plus he seems like a great mentor for the young recievers.

Question is, since we traded picks and not a player. Who gets cut to make room for Sanders spot on the roster?
Bourn, James, D-lineman?

Mathews and it aint even close.

Oh yea! I forgot we brought him back.

That's great, arrow up for the receiving core.

Like Harbaugh always said competition makes the team better. Someone's going to the bench, hopefully that someone goes harder to get back on the field!

Dude fits in perfectly with this team...his skill set and attitude.

s**te deal for a very old player in decline not to mention coming back from serious injury.

The Patriots got the cream (namely Sanu who is by far the better player), instead the 9ers got the bottom of the barrel by overpaying someone who won't add to the current WR corps with the active players we have. Big mistake in my opinion.

Don't kid ourselves, our hope lies in whether Jalen Hurd will be able to come back who is a difference maker type WR that the 9ers need and not just another small and shifty guy that we have in abundance.

Lol.

Double lol

Emmanuel Sanders-32-7,400 yards receiving, 13.1 YPC, 39 TDs

Mohamed Sanu-30-4,300 yards receiving, 11.5 YPC, 25 TDs

In 2 more seasons, Sanders has 3,000 more yards receiving.

Seasons over 1,000 yards receiving:

Sanders-3
Sanu-0

How familiar is Sanders with Shanahan's kind of offense?

The Broncos' offensive coordinator is Rich Scangarello, who was the 49ers QB coach in the last 2 seasons. As such, the Broncos' should be running a very similar offense to Kyle's offense at SF.
Man Bronco radio is hilarious. They are already suggesting trading Noah Fant lol

Broncos OC this year worked for Shanahan previously. Not sure how much that actually translates.

I want you guys to seriously look me in the eyes and tell me that he isn't an upgrade for this team right now as it's constructed

We will look you in the eyes but first we have to commend John Lynch for looking up into John Elway's eyes if you know what I mean. I contact is huge and I'm sure it helped make this trade happen and block Green Bay and the Saints and probably the patriots from getting him. We just got a wide receiver that get separation with the best of them and has not dropped a pass all year. This is exactly what we needed I'm so glad we got him

Good upgrade. As long as he doesn't hinder the team from signing Buckner and Kittle down the road it is a good move.

Zero chance of that

I do very much which was why he drafted Jalen Hurd as he knew we already had too many small and shifty WRs.

Plus, it was reported we also went for Sanu, so ask yourself why??

The only difference between us and the Patriots is they got the right guy who they wanted and given Lynch failed in his attempt to secure Sanu we forced ourselves to pick up some guy for the sake of picking up another WR and nothing more. A 3rd and 4th for a 32 year old over the hill and soon-to-retire small WR. What a train wreck of a move!!
lol the Niners/Broncos transactions are so predictable.
I'm surprised we haven't seen the WZ "another midget WR" post.
Yikes!!!!!
Johnny L, put down the crack pipe
Lol dumbass Patriots
