I'm going to cry if the Saints beat the 49ers and go deep into the playoffs next year with Sanders.

I'm pretty sure if that happens, it will not be because of Sanders. He may contribute but he will only be a #2 in that offense, if he stays healthy.
Lynch didn't let him go because he didn't like him. He let him go for cap reasons and the #13 pick.

Seattle bringing in guys like Revis, Gordon and Graham and NE with Moss, Gordon and now Sanu are great examples of those contenders getting after it. They don't sit on their hands and watch FA go by no matter how good their teams are.
Contenders gamble at the deadline for a shot to win it all. See the Pats and trading a pick for Sanu. (They gave up a 2)

Yup.
Sanders clearly went there because they offered him the most, just happened to be a contending team. I don't think it has anything to do with targetsOriginally posted by FL9er:Originally posted by dj43:Originally posted by SteveYoung8:Originally posted by blizzuntz:He is getting pretty good WR 2 money at 33 years old .

Between the targets that Michael Thomas, Kamara, and Cook get in the passing game, I think his numbers may not be what he thinks they will be.

When you are a WR and are 33 years old you have to go for the highest payer. Not many years left for him and I wish him the best of luck
