I think it's a waste of cap resources. WR is not a need for the Niners right now. Every bit of cap space the Niners have is valuable.

It's not a waste at all. In 3 WR sets who are we trotting out there? Richie James? Jalen Hurd? Jauan Jennings? No chance. Imagine if Deebo or Aiyuk miss any time. We need another legit WR. One being a vet in this league. Maybe it's not Sanders but it needs to be someone Jimmy can rely on.

IF we gonna sign a WR, we may as well give it to a younger guy that will grow to this offense than the one we may end up cutting again the following. year..

I would. The value I had Bourne at. Totally down for Sanders at that price. Doubt he'd take it, but his value in the league has to be declining. Maybe 2 million per with lots of incentives.
