Lol.

Double lol

Emmanuel Sanders-32-7,400 yards receiving, 13.1 YPC, 39 TDs

Mohamed Sanu-30-4,300 yards receiving, 11.5 YPC, 25 TDs

In 2 more seasons, Sanders has 3,000 more yards receiving.

Seasons over 1,000 yards receiving:

Sanders-3
Sanu-0

LOL. You have become a stats slave. I wonder whatever happened to qualitative research?? Hmm...

You have totally failed to analyze what kind of WR can actually add to the current WR corps.

Last we need is yet another small WR, we have a ton of them.

What we need is someone who can provide more of a matchup challenge with a bit more size and power.

See above

How many midgets can you fit on one field. A ton. Kyle is a genius.

Yeah, once he passes his physical, he'll be all good to play Sunday, and we can use him against a good Panthers defense.

Yep. Schefter reported that the 49ers pushed to get it done today to have him in uniform against Carolina.

Agreed. It was a must.

We need another RELIABLE weapon to take pressure off Kittle. He's also a veteran to help the young guys. He's also very good.

Really no down side. It was a necessity.

yeah... I know a lot of us love the draft and whatnot... but if we can make a run this year, why wait and hope that some mid round pick hits.

I think it's pretty much a given we can recoup most of this via a trade down. It's not a big deal at all.

I love that the chicken little crew were begging for a legit #1 and now that we have the best option that was out there (unless Green ever got healthy) they hate it. We traded a low 3rd for him. The 4th rounder for their 5th is gonna be about 10 spots at most. Then if he walks thats likely a 3rd round compensatory pick based off his salary and play time this season.

So as of right now (Not resigned yet) depending on where we finish we got Sanders ,a #1 WR for moving down around 1-10 spots in the 3rd (compensatory pick) and moving down around 1-10 spots in the 4th. (depending on our finish and denvers finish/5throunder)

Not so sure he nets us a 3rd. Maybe a 4th or 5th... but still. A good move.

I do very much which was why he drafted Jalen Hurd as he knew we already had too many small and shifty WRs.

Plus, it was reported we also went for Sanu, so ask yourself why??

The only difference between us and the Patriots is they got the right guy who they wanted and given Lynch failed in his attempt to secure Sanu we forced ourselves to pick up some guy for the sake of picking up another WR and nothing more. A 3rd and 4th for a 32 year old over the hill and soon-to-retire small WR. What a train wreck of a move!!

Emmanuel Sanders vs. Sanu stat comparison:

Sanders:
QB: Joe Flacco (2019), Case Keenum (2018)
2018 stats: 12 games, 71 rec, 868 yards, 4 TD (also added 4 rushes for 53 yards and 1 TD)
2019 stats: 7 games, 30 rec, 367 yards, 2 TD
Pro Bowls in career: 2

Sanu:
QB: Matt Ryan
2018 Stats: 16 games, 66 rec, 838 yards, 4 TD (also added 7 rushes for 44 yards)
2019 Stats: 7 games, 33 rec, 313 yards, 1 TD (also added 2 rushes for 3 yards)
Pro Bowls in career: 0

Someone needs to settle down.

I love it! I will be depressed with a lack of picks at the next draft but knowing the Lombardi is in Santa Clara will be my anti-depressant

When you have championship aspirations you deal 3rd and 4th round picks.

But I guess this fanbase went from rooting for losses against rivals just for a draft pick to being a championship contender in less than a calendar year. Might take some time for some people to catch up.

I'm with you 💯

These people on here don't get it. We were 1 piece away from being a bonifed sb team and now we are. Once healthy, teams won't be able to load up on on the run and or smother Kittle. He knows how to get open.

whose position does he take though?

I'm guessing Pettis

and our 3rd is essentially a high 4th at this point

Exactly.
Well ok. I really wanted AJ Green. I thought a #1 next year for him why not. Window is open. It's possible the Bengals may want 2 #1s. Sanders is fine. He will instantly add a lot.

You know what they need? More receivers that can consistently get open AND catch the football. They got a veteran with some of the best hands in the NFL.

yeah, I think trading our 1st is almost guaranteed.

any idea if Denver took on some of his contract? I know the team trading usually does.
