whose position does he take though?

I'm guessing Pettis

Goodwin

Doesn't that slow us down a bit?

I mean Sanders is pretty fast and so is Pettis. We will see total guess on my part. I just think Goodwin isn't very good.

does Sanders return punts still?
Think of it this way, our late 4th is probably going to end up being less than 7-8 picks from their early 5th. Essentially we just traded a third for him.

He and Kittle.

LOL. You have become a stats slave. I wonder whatever happened to qualitative research?? Hmm...

You have totally failed to analyze what kind of WR can actually add to the current WR corps.

Last we need is yet another small WR, we have a ton of them.

What we need is someone who can provide more of a matchup challenge with a bit more size and power.

Cause OBJ and pre-batsh*t AB were physical monsters. Sanders is everything this offense has needed, imagine Goodwin in JG's first 5 games but better and consistent for an entire season.

Again every report from Broncos TC and since has been that Sanders was the best player on the field post-injury. Worrying about his age is moot this year as it has shown to be a nonfactor already.
Unbelievable competitor and route runner. He will make this team so much better.

This is a team going for it all ladies and gentlemen.

This team is saying right now to the rest of the NFL, oh you think we don't have a passing game capable of winning it all? Well then, WATCH THIS! Here we come!!

I wouldn't go that far. George Kittle says hello!

Lol dumbass Patriots

I've calmed down now.

This tweet helped.

Swapping a late 4th for a high 5th is no biggie, since we hit it big in round 5...

Sanders cost us a late 3rd round pick, how many rookie receivers picked here (around the #90 spot) are going to be as productive as EM is now for the next three years? The due can catch 60 balls a season ez, so this might not be such a bad deal...

I'm officially OK with it, but reserve the right to change my mind after any sus or cc post in the future.

I do very much which was why he drafted Jalen Hurd as he knew we already had too many small and shifty WRs.

Plus, it was reported we also went for Sanu, so ask yourself why??

The only difference between us and the Patriots is they got the right guy who they wanted and given Lynch failed in his attempt to secure Sanu we forced ourselves to pick up some guy for the sake of picking up another WR and nothing more. A 3rd and 4th for a 32 year old over the hill and soon-to-retire small WR. What a train wreck of a move!!

Emmanuel Sanders vs. Sanu stat comparison:

Sanders:
QB: Joe Flacco (2019), Case Keenum (2018)
2018 stats: 12 games, 71 rec, 868 yards, 4 TD (also added 4 rushes for 53 yards and 1 TD)
2019 stats: 7 games, 30 rec, 367 yards, 2 TD
Pro Bowls in career: 2

Sanu:
QB: Matt Ryan
2018 Stats: 16 games, 66 rec, 838 yards, 4 TD (also added 7 rushes for 44 yards)
2019 Stats: 7 games, 33 rec, 313 yards, 1 TD (also added 2 rushes for 3 yards)
Pro Bowls in career: 0

Someone needs to settle down.

He only looks at size and age. He don't care about production.

that's a good point you have there sir

Teams usually don't do that, except for the desperate Texans.

His salary for the first 7 weeks are obviously paid by the Broncos, if that is what you meant.

sure about that? Pitt had like $21M in dead money this yr because they traded AB. NY had $16M in DM once they moved OBJ.

I got a little excited, my bad.
I think for this trade to be considered a success at the end of the year Sanders needs to get 50-60 receptions, 700 yards and 8-10 TD's in the final 10 games. That would be an upgrade over what any of our guys would probably do. If we don't see these kind of results it wasn't really worth it.

Two questions come to mind here. How many receptions will it take from Kittle. If he loses 2 or 3 per game then there isn't much improvement
Which wide receiver is the odd man out. I'm guessing Matthews gets released but they still need to make room on the active roster. I would say James but then who returns kicks? Thoughts.
It's interesting they were going so hard after Sanu. As much as they are looking for help they still weren't trying to acquire a #1.
