We've been stacked with picks for years calm down. This is a win now move. We still have a 1st to trade back with.
Pierre Garcon 2.0. Washed up obsession of Kyle.

They can still put Sanders and Goodwin out there together to really back off a defense.

You know what they need? More receivers that can consistently get open AND catch the football. They got a veteran with some of the best hands in the NFL.

dude is instantly our best weapon now

I wouldn't go that far. George Kittle says hello!

I got a little excited, my bad.
Haha no worries, I think we are all excited for this deal :)
Now that Goodwin has basically been replaced, we should take advantage of this buyers market for WR's and see if anyone would trade a 5th for him. Preferably trade him to someone in the AFC like Buffalo or Indy.

2018 stats: 12 games, 71 rec, 868 yards, 4 TD (also added 4 rushes for 53 yards and 1 TD)
2019 stats: 7 games, 30 rec, 367 yards, 2 TD

Sanu:

2018 Stats: 16 games, 66 rec, 838 yards, 4 TD (also added 7 rushes for 44 yards)
2019 Stats: 7 games, 33 rec, 313 yards, 1 TD (also added 2 rushes for 3 yards)
Pro Bowls in career: 0

Someone needs to settle down.

On the clock, keep re-posting this every page to remind people what the hell is up! The Niners biggest weakness was at wide receiver and now that is almost fixed. Not to mention this opens up plays for other receivers that weren't yet good enough to get separation consistently or what not against the better players on opposing defenses. I really wish people would think about this before they complain.

Another good reason is we also cock blocked a few other contenders , mainly New Orleans and Green Bay which would've been a nightmare trying to guard on those teams even though our defense is good.

Also for those of you that are b***hing about the draft picks, you have to admit that now Denver is worse so they are definitely picking in the top five and we will be picking in the bottom five most likely. So in essence it's a late third rounder and the pick will be in the 90s most likely or high 80s. Now you guys tell me isn't Emmanuel Sanders worth a high 80th or low 90th pick? Hell yeah he is if he helps us win a SB

I do very much which was why he drafted Jalen Hurd as he knew we already had too many small and shifty WRs.

Plus, it was reported we also went for Sanu, so ask yourself why??

The only difference between us and the Patriots is they got the right guy who they wanted and given Lynch failed in his attempt to secure Sanu we forced ourselves to pick up some guy for the sake of picking up another WR and nothing more. A 3rd and 4th for a 32 year old over the hill and soon-to-retire small WR. What a train wreck of a move!!

OK, so you have proven you are a stats slave.

How about doing some proper qualitative analysis? How about looking at our current WR corps and analyze what we need?

We already have a ton of these small and shifty WRs. That was precisely why Jalen Hurd was such a fantastic addition before he got injured.

Last we need is an overpaid, over-the-hill, soon-to-retire, 32 year old small WR not to mention who is coming back from a serious injury to add.

What we need is someone with a bit more size and power who can provide more of a match-up challenge.

Congrats to the Patriots. They got the right guy and the player they wanted. As reported we also went after Sanu, so ask yourself why? The difference is, the Patriots got the job done and won the bid. The 9ers was left picking up the pieces, they got desperate and made an impulsive move. Sigh...Just too bad.

Think of it this way, our late 4th is probably going to end up bring less than 7-8 picks from their early 5th. Essentially we just traded a third for him.

that's a good point you have there sir

and if we talk about just talent available, not much separates a 4th-5th-6th rounders so really essentially IMHO if you think about it we only traded a 6th rounder
throw in 40 is the new 20 and we just got ourselves a 16 year old WR

I'm surprised we haven't seen the WZ "another midget WR" post.

See above

How many midgets can you fit on one field. A ton. Kyle is a genius.

Rejuvenated WR corps hitting the field Sunday all

All right that was pretty funny

Considering our luck with injuries, I'd keep him. it doesn't hurt to have two interchangeable deep threats in rotation -- even if one is merely a decoy
The FO knows its strengths.... That 1st round pick can be turned into like 5 or 6 4th-7th round picks plus more next year at a minimum. Thats where they find their starters, 1st-3rd rounders are for suckers.
The lack of intelligence outside of a Stanford degree
Damn, does he look the same this year after the Achilles injury...?
