A bit steep, but I totally have a football boner right now. Sanders will be able to contribute right away since he's been playing in a similar offense under Scangarello.

See above
How many midgets can you fit on one field. A ton. Kyle is a genius.
Rejuvenated WR corps hitting the field Sunday all

Achilles.
Dudes rarely comeback the same after that.
Yet he did and has been just as good as always with a crap line and floundering OC.
I think suswel and mayo49 are the same person, they are always very negative just ignore them.
And who are you?
I'm actually a very positive person. I just don't like when the FO signs/drafts/trades for players with prior ACL/Achilles injuries.

As long as he balls out the rest of this season, IDGAF. You can always trade back and recoup a 3rd rounder.

I guess when the niners are playing well even trolls can start to get a little insecure.

As for Jordan Mathews, they haven't even dressed him and they should have.
You keep playing midgets, they get hit once they are off the field immediately straight into the tent like Goodwin, Pettis and even Deebo. They are pussies!! We need bigger and tougher WRs!!
You don't even know what Hurd can do! He's been a WR for like a yr. Great he had a couple catches in a preseason game vs guys selling insurance. If it was all about being big, guys like Matthews/dorrell-green beckham/Stephen Hill/ Jonathan Baldwin would have been stars. YET they sucked because there's more to playing the position, you seem to not understand that.
You keep saying small WRs get hurt and talk about Hurd who is hurt. What the s**t is big AJ Green doing right now??? Oh the irony

Richard Sherman worked out, Its easy to negative about it but he has produced this year on the field with a bad broncos offense.

Still wondering which receiver gets moved. We aren't going to keep Goodwin, Pettis, Samuel, Bourne, James and Sanders. If they cut James they could go back to Pettis as a return man. I like Bourne only because he gives them a bigger option in the red zone. Samuel isn;t getting cut so it kind of leaves Goodwin. They might be able to get a late round pick for him. I know he's our fastest receiver but we rarely if ever use him on that deep pattern. Maybe some team with a strong arm QB that likes to throw deep would give a 5th or 6th for him.

Great move, don't worry about the draft picks we gave up for him. We won't find a WR of his caliber in those rds. Rather have Sanders than a molasses Sanu. Great Trade ShanaLynch!!! U guys

I do very much which was why he drafted Jalen Hurd as he knew we already had too many small and shifty WRs.
Plus, it was reported we also went for Sanu, so ask yourself why??
The only difference between us and the Patriots is they got the right guy who they wanted and given Lynch failed in his attempt to secure Sanu we forced ourselves to pick up some guy for the sake of picking up another WR and nothing more. A 3rd and 4th for a 32 year old over the hill and soon-to-retire small WR. What a train wreck of a move!!
Emmanuel Sanders vs. Sanu stat comparison:
Sanders:
QB: Joe Flacco (2019), Case Keenum (2018)
2018 stats: 12 games, 71 rec, 868 yards, 4 TD (also added 4 rushes for 53 yards and 1 TD)
2019 stats: 7 games, 30 rec, 367 yards, 2 TD
Pro Bowls in career: 2
Sanu:
QB: Matt Ryan
2018 Stats: 16 games, 66 rec, 838 yards, 4 TD (also added 7 rushes for 44 yards)
2019 Stats: 7 games, 33 rec, 313 yards, 1 TD (also added 2 rushes for 3 yards)
Pro Bowls in career: 0
Someone needs to settle down.
He only looks at size and age. He don't care about production.Originally posted by Rascal:

OK, so you have proven you are a stats slave.
How about doing some proper qualitative analysis? How about looking at our current WR corps and analyze what we need?
We already have a ton of these small and shifty WRs. That was precisely why Jalen Hurd was such a fantastic addition before he got injured.
Last we need is an overpaid, over-the-hill, soon-to-retire, 32 year old small WR not to mention who is coming back from a serious injury to add.
What we need is someone with a bit more size and power who can provide more of a match-up challenge.
Congrats to the Patriots. They got the right guy and the player they wanted. As reported we also went after Sanu, so ask yourself why? The difference is, the Patriots got the job done and won the bid. The 9ers was left picking up the pieces, they got desperate and made an impulsive move. Sigh...Just too bad.
Dude, the over-the-hill stuff is easily disproven by his numbers which projected out over 16 games last year put him over 1000 yards despite a terrible QB. Also the soon to retire thing is just made up lol. He is fast, shifty, and sure handed. Hurd will get back into this soon enough and we'll have even more "trait balance".
Just because he's not tall, doesn't mean he can't improve us. That's just silly.
The damage is done anyway, is too late. Is just very frustrating and disappointing. Sanders won't amount to much. He is just a much older Goodwin with a bit more experience and coming back from a serious injury. Overall, sh*t pick-up and definitely overpaid. Next year's draft will be non-existent now since we have sweet FA picks left.
Instead, I will look forward to Jalen Hurd coming back. Just you watch, he is exactly the type of difference maker type WR that the 9ers have been needing for years.
