Like the player. Like the fit. Not a fan of the comp. This is obviously a Super Bowl or bust move.

They might be able to get a late round pick for him. I know he's our fastest receiver but we rarely if ever use him on that deep pattern. Maybe some team with a strong arm QB that likes to throw deep would give a 5th or 6th for him.
I think Goodwin is odd man out.

You're a slave to continuously talking about wanting big guys lol
Hey, I got news for you, "big" is not a stat.
I don't give a f**k if your 10 feet tall or 5 feet tall as long as you catch the ball, score TDs, and move the chains...all of which are stats.

Im pretty sure Niners were trying to get Sanu for a 3rd, but the Pats upped the ante.

Kyle has had a hard-on for ES for a long time. We've been hearing the rumors of ES to SF for years now.
They lock in on a guy and that's it. He's going to be ours one way or another.

Sad to say, but this.
He's been through a ton off the field and it makes you want to cheer for him, but he leaves you wanting more as a WR. At 28yo he is who he is and he won't suddenly become useful after all these years in the league. He's a track star playing WR, but we don't even take a bunch of shots with him because it's too risky. If you're a one trick pony, you need to at least be great at that trick. Look at Philip Dorsett.

Originally posted by Rascal:The damage is done anyway, is too late. Is just very frustrating and disappointing. Sanders won't amount to much. He is just a much older Goodwin with a bit more experience and coming back from a serious injury. Overall, sh*t pick-up and definitely overpaid. Next year's draft will be non-existent now since we have sweet FA picks left.
Instead, I will look forward to Jalen Hurd coming back. Just you watch, he is exactly the type of difference maker type WR that the 9ers have been needing for years.
First we pay slightly more than a 3rd, then we go deep in the playoffs or win the SB, and then free agents will all want to jump on board the ShannyLynch train for no draft picks at all.

Probably already posted but it's a must watch. From last year. Constantly getting wide open, with Keemun throwing behind him or overthrowing him. His numbers would've been even better with accurate passes, because he would've actually had an opportunity to get yards after the catch.
Just get it in his general area and he'll snag it. He's an extremely important safety blanket for this offense and jimmys development.

Who else. Matthews was on the practice squad. They only have 5 wide receivers active on game day. Trading Goodwin would make sense if they have any thought of keeping Sanders after this year. I doubt they would trade Deebo or Pettis since they're so young unless some team gives them a great offer.

Sanders has to be the happiest guy in the NFL right now.
