I don't doubt it since we don't throw to ours very often. That better change now. No more excuses for Jimmy that he doesn't have good receivers. Sanders may not be great but he's at least experienced and a solid performer.
Redskins game: Matthews active
Panthers game: Sanders active

For those worried about the pick(s) we gave up, I don't care; they're not much. I'm not even remotely in my imagination thinking about next year's draft now.

I'll give the credit to Albright who to my knowledge was the first to call it.

100%...for like 2 years now.

Bourne is safe, he's our mudder and he's an excellent blocker.

I like him because he gives us some size. It may come down to matchups on who they activate on game day.

Like the aggressiveness of the Front Office to make a run at a championship. We will probably trade back in round 1 in the draft to try & recoup some picks. I don't care at this point just really like attacking our weakness with injuries & no one stepping up yet. Great job Lynch & Peters

Yes! Great move by Lynch! Winners make a move to shore up weaknesses when the opportunity presents itself. Barring injury the team is going to be fairly unstoppable offensively. Sanders is getting good posts from the Broncos fans who are pretty broken up about him leaving.

Won't the Niners get a 3rd or 4th round comp pick if he leaves via FA?

think it depends on if he signs a big contract or not

Honestly, totally makes me scream WTF in my head. It's like they'd be pissed to have Tyreek Hill on the team. Do people not realize how many outstanding sub 6 foot receivers there are in the league?

Yup, like I posted those size queens must have hated drafting Kittle. Bottom tier in size/weight for a TE. They most have loved getting Toilolo so he could make all those contested catches

930 yds. running and receiving last year on Denver's offense? Sanders may no longer be great, but he's still pretty frelling good.

Welp, you can lock this now.

his photo

Right? Just in case you didn't already know he's a douche

What the hell happened to the real Grant Cohn? Now he's sucking up to Kyle and John?

Dude has been in love with Kyle and Saleh all off season and pumping everyone up save for Pettis. And we're 6-0. Is this a Mandela Effect????

You don't have to like LaConfora on the whole...but he was the most emphatic over the last two days about their interest in Sanu and Sanders. He nailed both. In this case, he deserves props too.

I get that but I guaranty fans will be saying if only we had more picks next year when there is player sitting there that we could have used. Fans go back years and say we should have picked this guy or could have had that guy.

Isn't he rather old to give away 2 mid draft picks?

What is the league longevity for mid round picks?

3 years

And their longevity as starters?
My first thought was that's a lot to give up for Sanders. Then I considered the following-
1. When Hurd comes back, all of a sudden our WR room looks pretty good w Sanders, Deebo, Bourne, take your pick of role players from Taylor, James, Pettis, Goodwin etc...
2. We don't necessarily have a lot of NEEDS now. Aside from OL and then Secondary/LB Depth we're pretty set.
3. Yes, initially it seems we're losing picks rapidly. But now in year 3 I'm more than confident in our FO to recoup some of those picks.

I fully trust the Brick by Brick process!

The most crucial part of this whole trade is that we got a 5th. You do know what we do with 5th rounders right?
