I want to vomit to be honest.
A third and a fourth? Really?
You know that´s the first time I don´t understand the front office.
The raiders paid less for AB.
I don ´t get the urge to get a WR.
We had enough number 2 I think and if they could just try to not drop half the time, everything was fine.
Shanny is way too impatient with the receivers he wanted in the draft the last two years.
That´s Pierre Garcon 2.0 waiting to happen.
We made this trade like we´re going all in for the superbowl. Let´s try first to go to the PO for once.
And could we just stop trading with the Broncos?

I look at the trade like this.
Late 3rd rounder for Emmanuel Sanders (I can live with this if he produces even if its just a rental)
late 4th rounder for an early 5th rounder (Basically a trade back to sweeten the pot, probably only about 10 spots)

The asking price for WRs was incredibly inflated this year unfortunately. A 4th straight up would've been a perfect deal in a normal year. But the Sanu deal made him at minimum worth a 3rd. I think the competition pushed that further, hence the deal we got stuck making. Let's hope some desperate team trades up with us in the draft this year, or we are able to off-load a surplus guy for draft capital. If he balls out, and we win a Super Bowl, not a soul here should have reason to complain. Hope it works out.

At the same time, this also tells me a few other things:

1. We believe strongly in the guys we have and that draft picks will have a hard time beating them out.

2. Because of #1, it seems like the team intends to make a strong push to retain its proven core players, and that means less room for rookies.

Considering where our 4th will hopefully be and where Denver's 5th will likely be he was basically traded for a late 3rd rounder so I'm okay with the deal especially if they can resign him on the cheap since I doubt he'll be expensive.

Emmanuel Sanders is not putting up big numbers in the struggling Broncos offense, but he is grading well in our system (79.7 overall) and has had 30 catches this season without a drop. #49ers
