Longtime NFL qb Alex Smith--who fashioned one of the most unlikely comebacks ever--has just announced his retirement. He will be joining us on @OTLonESPN on @SportsCenter at about 140 eastern time.

Anyway...Alex retiring is a reminder of how long I've been on this forum LOL. Crazy. I remember all the debates on here back in 05-06. Good times. Go Niners and best of luck Alex.
