That was incredible. Thank you for sharing. Proud of him and inspired by him.

Thanks for the find. "Inspiring" doesn't seem quite adequate.
During the documentary when he said to his wife that there are a million people who would give to be where he was says it all about his humility and perspective.

We gave him a nice ovation on Monday night. Was nice to see. He seemed happy with it. Had a huge smile on his face.

I've missed 3 homegames since 1990.
With so many Playoff teams needing a QB this upcomming season, anyone think Alex will come out of retirement,?

As much as I got on Alex's fanboys on here... and on Alex when he was with us... Alex 2.0, as I like to call him, is much better than all these other backups littered across the league that some teams will resort to start for their squad.

He's 37...looks in good shape.

He's a much better TV guy than QB that's for sure

He's sacrificed enough of his body to the game. With the amount of money hes made why would he risk it.

I hear ya... but imo, saying this as it's not my body or family that has to deal with the repercussions of coming back, he is still young. The league is more protective of QBs now a days.

I don't believe he has had many concussions in his career...I believe one has was reported publicly. His injuries, while yes a rare and almost life threatening situation, came from a leg injury late in his career.

The opportunity is there, we've seen the list of Playoff ready teams that don't really have a competent QB right now. It's much eaiser to get into the playoffs now as well..and once your in, you never know.

But again, this isn't my body or my family that has to deal with that decision...so yeah.

It's a shame. Guys like Alex and Jimmy are the perfect faces of a franchise. Class acts that dress the part, say all the right things. Good leaders. Good role models.

sucks that their on field production couldn't hack it for this storied franchise….

All they needed was some talent
