Is it bet $100 to win $6,600? I'd bet that. I don't even think he'll need to take any snaps. He might win the award just by being around the team and posting videos like this.

Looks like the odds are plummeting since I made the post. Its now $100 to win $2000 to $2500, depending on book. And the bolded was my point. The progress he has made from the injury to the video workouts alone might be enough for voters to pick him.

Its still a really good bet, IMO. (Ben Roethlisberger and Gronk are the favorites, if you are curious)

Know where I can place a bet online from CA? DraftKings denied me. Lol.

I have a local bookie, so I am not really sure. I have heard good things about 5dimes, bovada and betonline. Sorry I cant be of more help.

All good, thanks.
I hope he never plays again. He's suffered enough with the horrendous injury and all the ups and downs of his career, it would be devastating to see him get injured in any way again.
I could be wrong but, I would think he has a legit chance to go into broadcasting and become one of the best on TV. I'm sure he will have numerous opportunities post football.
I'm just glad to see him back to a place where he can live a normal life.
Furlow, I hope you were able to jump on that bet. The line is PLUMMETING. Alex is now +700. I dont ever think I have seen a line drop as much as this has in my entire adult betting life. This is insane.

I did not. This probably just means Vegas will make sure he doesn't win. Lol.

For sure. I loved it at 66-1. I even really, really liked it at 20-1. 7-1 is an easy pass. Not even close to high enough of a payout for a longshot bet.
I'd love to see him back as OC assistant. Always looked like he knew what he wanted to do.
He should come and be the 49ers OC.
HE'LL TELL SHANAHAN TO RUN THE FOOTBALL WHEN U HAVE A LEAD...ESPECIALLY WHEN THE TEAM CANT STOP IT

Doubt he goes in broadcasting. I can't see him doing that. He's pretty soft spoken and has always been a bit camera shy. He was never like Rodgers who likes being in the spotlight. He can be a very good coach though. You see a lot of players not want to deal with football anymore when they retire, but Alex does love football. I can't see him stepping away from it. He's gonna be a really good OC, worst case a solid QB coach.
I saw the special, and as much as I'd love to see Alex come back and do anything in the NFL again, I'm definitely concerned about him trying to play again with all they've had to do just to restore that leg to something resembling "normal"...
